As his father walked in the door I was reconnecting the DVD player, making it look like I was stealing something valuable. Then he brought his son upstairs and plopped him on the couch in the room we were all staying in without saying anything. We got upstairs and realized there was a small child in OUR room. This confused us all into discussing this in the hallway until the boy's sister came out and realized our dilemma and solved it by making the young boy sleep in her room. Good job sis. After eating the rest of my Rice Roni, we left WV for Johnstown, PA. I don't recall much of the drive, but we arrived in Johnstown, PA, a working class city an hour out of Pittsburgh that looks like it belongs as the setting of a 90s working class movie. The show was cool enough, some weird bands played, a Ceremony song was covered by one of them, we played and kids knew the songs. Cool show I guess? After the show the police came through the area because someone had robbed a convenience store, because of a run in between a Beartrap member and a Sheetz store earlier in the day in Johnstown, we bounced before we got falsely accused of something. We left Johnstown to stay with Nick in York, but I got McDonalds first, my first McDonalds food of the trip. We got to Nick's around 1 and ate some of his food and talked for a while. Nick's one of my favorite tour dudes to hang out with, though it's strange seeing him out of Charelston. After talking and eating, we went to bed.

8/7 - York, PA

Nick had already gone to work when we woke up, but his Mom came in to say she was leaving and we were free to stay. I made a turkey sandwich and mashed potatoes for lunch/dinner and then Nick name home. We chilled for a little bit, in which I was voted, "Chillest member of Beartrap" and then left for the show. Once we got to the show I kept coming up with different excuses as to why Mike should drive us to McDonalds for me to get a drink. It finally worked and I got a large Diet Coke for a dollar, cause my cup had broken earlier in the trip. The show was cool, cool spot, kids who liked being outside, Wild Steve taking pictures. After the show we rolled back to Nick's to eat burgers and hang out. At some point in the day we learned we might go home the next day cause another show had fallen through in Virginia. Me and Josh played pool and then watched Pineapple Express with Tom. Good flick.

8/8 - Baltimore, MD

We left Nick's house pretty early for us and got some free burritos from him at his place of work. Thanks Nick!! Then we rolled to Baltimore cause we were playing Jersey Mike fest first. The whole day was pretty stressful and long because we were finding out if we were gonna go home or not. I was ready, I missed my girlfriend, my dog and my family and my friends. We got to Balitmore and the show started 2 hours later than it was supposed to, we played, it was eh, then we waited 3 hours to find out if we were definitely leaving. We did. It was a long drive home, the tolls in New York were unbelievably annoying and trafficy, but we made it. I got home and chilled with Jen and Dodger, then my parents once they woke up.

So now I'm home. It was a very fun 2 month tour, but it was time to get home while we all still got along and liked each other. I'd say it was probably the best tour I've been on. Ups and downs per usual, but more ups than downs. My favorite places were Seattle, Southern California, Denver, Ann Arbor and Charleston. It was very cool driving through the Rockies and Montana and the whole thing seemed to go by very very fast, even though if I look back to sayyyyy Cleveland, it feels like a lifetime ago. I tried more fast food restaurants than I ever thought I would and I still managed to lose almost 20 pounds by eating 2 meals a day and never snacking on shit foods. In-N-Out was great, Carl's Jr. was great, Taco Bueno was disappointing, Checkers was greasy, Del Taco was a good value, Hardees wasn't as good as Carl's Jr., Whataburger taught me that I like mustard and onions on my burgers, Sonic drinks are still way better than their food, Moe's still has the best chain burritos, Taco Bell is still heavenly, Wendy's kind of sucks, Chick-Fil-A is kind of overrated, I'm afraid to try any chain fried chicken, even though I like Popeyes a lot, Jack In The Box is about 20x better than anyone gives it credit for being, the Tacos and Texas Burger are fucking awesome and cheap, Whitecastle is kind of gross and I've still never eaten at a standalone Panda Express cause they seriously weirds me out. It's always awesome to see people you don't normally see on tour like Andy ATL, Nick Charleston, PJ Tampa, Brick dudes, Make Do and Mend dudes, No Harm Done dudes, all of Orlando, Hivemind dudes, Nate Black Teeth, Indy dudes, Trevor and Seattle friends, Manny, Luke and all of Birmingham, Tom Assatly, Roanoke dudes and of course, Zac. It was also awesome to meet new people like the dudes in Decades, PowerTrip dudes and everyone else we met or stayed with in unfamiliar places.

We'll see what I do with this blog from now on. I'll hopefully post more than I did before this tour, though I don't know about what.

Peatz

8/5

8/3 - Knoxville, TN

We made pizza and left Tom's house around 1 and rolled to Knoxville. The show started late per usual and only us and another touring band I believe? played. Show was cool enough, decent amount of kids for a basement with no locals. We rolled to Abingdon, VA to sleep at Derek's house and watched Airplane, then went to bed.

8/4 - Roanoke, VA

We woke up late like always and went to Roanoke after some Taco Bell. Some girl and her mother laughed at Mike based on appearance alone in line. That was funny. We got to Roanoke and had to wait til 7 for someone to open the venue. The venue was a high end 3 1/2 star restaurant in downtown Roanoke. We saw a bunch of familiar faces which is always nice. There were two locals and a band from Richmond. We played last and the reaction was fuckin awesome. Probably the best reaction we've got on tour so far. I appreciate Roanoke hard and I think they appreciate us coming back three times now. We went to Walmart with Zack after the show then went back to his house where we made food and hung out with his awesome dogs. A corgie, a huuuuuge bermese mountain dog and a smaller bmd. Sooooo ill. We have to be real quiet at Zack's house, but its still a cool place to stay. We watched Secondhand Lions and Stripes.

8/5 - Parkersburg, WV

Zack kicked us out before 1 and we started the drive to WV, all I got was a Naked Juice at Kroger and was starving most of the ride until I got to Hardees and got some food and Coke Zero. We got to the show, which per usual was going to start late and two locals dropped off. So us and a band from Iowa played and it wound up being pretty cool. I like when kids know the words to our songs, duh. We didn't have a place to stay because the house was a kid at the show's Mom's house. He didn't live there. We were gonna have to drive to Pittsburgh, but his Mom came back and let us sleep here. So here we are now, we ate a bunch of food and now we're watching Titanic after Aladdin. The mom's like, middle school aged daughter came in to watch Aladdin with us and stayed for Titanic. Weeeeeiiiird. Also because this is a LCD tv, film apparently looks like video on this tv? So as I was trying to fix it Tom flipped out about the menu screen being up during Titanic, which was pretty funny cause earlier I was saying everyone was getting salty and he denied it. I don't blame him, I've been salty for a few days and everyone else has been too. The key is to just realize you're being salty and to harness it. I'm psyched to shower tonight or tomorrow. That's it. PA the next two days, then MD, the two VA shows, then a day off, MD again, day off, then this is hardcore. Then home. 11 days.

Xhill

8/2

8/2 - Mooresville, NC

Its insane how late I keep waking up. Today was 4ish. I fell asleep at 7ish though after watching some Eastbound and Down and Almost Famous. The cyclists went to a skate park while Tom and I slept after we woke up. Then Tom Assatly treated us to Moe's. Best chain burritos. Rolled to the show after food and chilled for a little bit before it "started." Lame show, hardly anyone there, but we got pizza and it was close to Tom's apt, so whatever. Tom got to see Beartrap. Got back here, finished Eastbound and Down, they watched True Blood, we all watched Road Fools 4 and now Van Wilder. Not a very exciting day, but it went by fast nonetheless. Leaving NC tomorrow for Knoxville. 2 weeks left.

Burreatz

8/1

7/31 - Goose Creek, SC

I think this is the point in the tour where grumpiness has taken over. All day I just wanted to hang out in Charleston just to chill in the city, but everyone woke up late, had to shower, then watch a 2 hour movie. So we got to Charleston at 6 and only spent an hour there. I guess at least I got to go? It was good enough, but I wish I had had more time, whatever. We got to the show at 730 or 8 and there were 10 bands playing. First we were playing 7th, then these fucking asshole metal bands that jumped on the day before bitched and played before us, so we played 9th. The kid booking the show was definitely nice to us and was a good kid, but you've got to learn to a. say no to a band or three jumping on last minute and b. say no to their demands at that point. We got to play after midnight. When we got to the show there were probably 80 kids there and about half had left. Shit happens, whatever. Still, we were there for almost 6 hours and it was a long terrible show. We left for Charlotte late and got there at 4 am. Mike's brother Tom had bought us some snacks and shit, which was awesome to come back to, so we ate and talked until 8 in the morning. We got into an argument over when 2 Feet Tall and Red Before Dawn were around and I prevailed correct in the discussion, which I knew I was.

8/1 - Greensboro, NC

Woke up at 3 or 4 and showered and stuff. Tom's shower is seriously a fucking power washer. It feels like your face is peeling off. The wind and water whipping around my face almost ripped my contacts out of my eyes and did at one point. We hit up Wendys, double stack, 5 piece nugs, med DIET PEPSI. At Wendys. Weiiiiiiird. Apparently Wendys doesn't have the dedication McDonalds and Taco Bell and other restaurants have to one soda manufacturer which further proves my theory I just developed that Wendys is the Dr. Pepper of the fast food world. We headed to Greensboro, the show was at some art gallery/record shop that had overpriced records, used dvds and books. It was a semi crusty show and kids definitely seemed to have a problem with Tom's youth crew style, Josh's flat brim and my Polo tee. If only we were all dressed as punk as Mike more people probably would have watched us and liked us. Oh well. At least we don't smell. Punch played, they were pretty good, a lot of people were into them. We're driving back to Tom's now. I can't wait to eat goldfish and cookies and drink something. I'm tired for no reason.

Peatz

7/30

7/29 - Orlando, FL

Woke up very very late in Orlando at Nick's house. Like, 3. Then we went to get food across the street. I just grabbed a drink then made myself mac and cheese. Got to the show and chilled with Zac and the Hivemind dudes, talked to a homeless dude who was talking about patenting buying rolling papers, then picking cigarettes off the ground and rerolling them. When asked what his patent number was, he replied 6969FuckYou. Good enough for me. Dude was awesome. The show was cool enough, we played well. Gil showed up at some point. After the show we went to the hospital and I got some awesome vegan chicken and mashed potatoes. Its a good crew of dudes down in Orlando who all appear to like each other without beef. Went back to the apartment and watched a TON of Unsolved Mysteries. There were some good ones in there. Fell asleep late.

7/30 - Gainesville, FL

Woke up at 3ish again and went to Chick-Fil-A for lunch, first time I'd been there to get chicken. Pretty good stuff, the pickles could have been better. Fountain Coke Zero is always good though. Got back and watched more UM, then headed to Gainesville. Not a bad drive, Gainesville shows always start soooooooooooooo late though. I called Jen and talked to her for a long time til the first band was done and it was time for Hivemind to play. Good sets from Hivemind and Learn Nothing, we played pretty well too. I woke up this morning with the stiffest neck I've ever dealt with. It hurts so bad to move it up still. Hopefully that goes away soon. Some acoustic dude played, then Battle, who got a big reaction. We didn't stick around long and started our trek to Charleston around 1 in the morning. Its 5 now and we've got another hour of this drive. Hopefully tomorrow we can head down to King St. before the show. I wanna walk around Charleston, see the Notebook sites and eat some food. I would like to sleep and not have a sore neck too. Hope this last stretch goes by fast. 17 days til I'm home, still having a decent amount of fun.

Peatz

7/28

7/28 - Miami, FL

I didn't fall asleep til 6 or 7ish last night, mostly due to the fact that I woke up at 2 on yesterday, oh well, I got to rewatch Juno? That's a good thing? We hung around in the morning and ate at Moe's, best burrito place because they have olives. Queso's good there too. When we got back Mike decided we were going to make the drive to Orlando tonight, rather than tomorrow, and the rest of us decided we would stay with Zac another night and drive with him tomorrow. Because Zac was bringing four people to the show, we couldn't ride back with him and Mike wouldn't bring us back to Zac's, so we were all going to Orlando tonight. Oh, the joys of touring. Now don't get me wrong, I don't have anything specifically against the people or the city of Orlando, I'd just prefer to hang out with my bff zwolf and drink his Grandma's Diet Coke and eat her dark chocolates without guilt. I'm a baby and all of this put me in a bad mood for the show which was actually pretty good. No terrible bands, a couple bands I wouldn't listen to, but none that were shockingly sloppy or out of the realm of my listening pleasure. My set up didn't work right away when we were about to play and two knowitalls came up to try to "help" me, which seemed odd, cause I have a nice amp and would therefore probably know what to do with it. I was checking wires and pickups first when one dude went about telling me I had blown a power tube or my impedence was off. Neither of which was possible because all my tubes were lit up and I'm not a fucking moron that would screw up impedence. This dude kept treating me like a fucking moron, while saying, dude you need to get a different head to play while I was all but saying, "leave me the fuck alone to take care of my own problem in my own time under my own pressure." I finally checked my speaker cable, which was loose, which fixed the problem. Then one of the dudes made a face like he was right while saying he was wrong and it all but ruined our set for me, which all things considered was pretty good. I understand people like to show that they know things and people like to be right and treat other people like idiots, but while I'm saying, "I'm not a fucking idiot, let me deal with this." You'd think they'd take a step back and at least just say, "okay asshole, deal with this on your own." One of them, after I fixed my own problem, said, "That's a really nice head." Yes. It is, and I'm not going to spend a thousand dollars on something I don't know how to operate or fix under a dire situation. Fuckin moron with the tube solution literally could not have been more wrong with any of his diagnosis, but even after being pissed at this situation, what could I have possibly done without making myself looking like even greater an asshole? Nothing. Which is why I'm wasting my own time writing it here. Fuck off, leave me alone and let me deal with my own shit and don't treat me like I don't know what I'm doing. After the show we drove to Orlando where we are now, I forgot I had a podcast to finish and it sucked when I realized it 20 minutes away. Oh well. Today kinda sucked even if the show was good and hanging with friends was fun.

Fuck off.

7/27

7/26 - Talahassee, FL

I hope that's spelled right. It might not be, but I'm definitely too lazy to double check right now. We woke up really late at Andy's house and slowly made our way to Waffle House. It was our first WH trip of the tour. Good place, I appreciate cheap food, but tipping after so long of NOT tipping at FF places is a little weird. Still, my chicken biscuit, hash browns and diet coke were well worth the tip. Our waitress seemed very apathetic about everything, which was pretty funny. After WH we started the trek to Florida. We were playing with Make Do And Mend, so I was psyched about that. Got to the venue where we all sat in an air conditioned room with a stage and a bar, but our show was next door. That room was being used by a man playing a Star Wars video game on his xbox on a projector. Not that I blame him. Our show was hot as hell and with a bunch of acoustic bands. It was fun seeing the MDAM dudes and seeing their band after listening to them so much this tour. By the time our bands played a bunch of people had left, but the people who stayed seemed to care. I also got a book, Lies My Teacher Told Me. We started out for Tampa to stay at JP's house. I wanted to sleep right away so I passed out on the floor while Mike, JP and Josh watched True Blood.

7/27 - Tampa, FL

Started out the day showering and talking with JP, good dude. He's moving to Philly soon, glad when good dudes move north, though it takes a nice place to stay out of our routine. we ate at Checkers, a first for all of us, great fries, pretty average burger. Very greasy, but good. Better than Hardees. I then drove to the venue while Mike went with JP. This was I believe the first drive that actually moved us toward a destination that anyone other than Mike drove. Got to the venue, then shortly after Zac showed up with Hivemind. Glurk talked shit so I jumped through the window to fake beat him up. Whacky fun. Show was kind of a bust, but it was cool to meet up with Florida heads. I'm breaking strings with extreme regularity now, which sucks. Especially cause I'm running out of said strings. Hopefully I can stay stocked for three more weeks. After the show we picked up Zac and now we're driving to BOCA RATON BIIIITCH to Zac's house to sleep. We started the car ride with a good hour's worth of conversations, which I'm definitely not used to. It was fun, but I was really looking forward to some good ol podcasting so I put my headphones on and said fuck you to the world and listened to people talk about sports. Now I'm listening to Born In The USA, the album, and I'm wondering if No Surrender-Bobby Jean are the best back to back tracks or if Third Engine-My Sweet Fracture are. We're finally close to ZWolf's house so if any sweet hijynx happen between now and sleep, they'll be covered tomorrow.

Peatz

7/25

Neglected this for a very long time, so these will be quick and whatever I remember from the days.

7/16 - Corpus Christi, TX

Left Josh's house kinda early and went to the beach where the water was so warm it felt like bath water, then we hit up a Little Caesars and Subway and went to the show which was in some store front kinda building, real big place. Cool show, kids dug us and bought a lot of shit. We were gonna stay with some kid, but Josh got back to us so we stayed with hi. Again since SA was on the way to Austin.

7/17 - Austin, TX

Had to wake up early cause Josh had work, so we went to Austin to hang all day. Pretty boring day for me and Tom. Mike and Josh rode on some trails or something kind of, then went to this crazy bike shit at some cool dudes house. I don't know, I was hot all day. We also went to Whataburger and Whole Foods. The show was horrible, we played to very few people and bounced to Fort Worth right after the show cause it was pointless to stick around. We got to Chris and Nick from Powertrip's house and hung with them for a while.

7/18 - Arlington, TX

Woke up and hit a Taco Bueno, a guitar center (I bought a strap and BLUE strap locks cause they were cheap as fuck) then went to the mall where me and Mike got some stuff from pacsun. The show was lame in Arlington. It was at some big place that hadn't had shows for a while or something. We got paid a hundred bucks, so whatever and we met some cool people, but other than that it was a long lame night. Stayed with PT again.

7/19 - Dallas, TX

Woke up and rolled to the 10 for 10 tour in Dallas and got in with the help of many many bands/people unfortunately after Powertrip. Looooong day, don't know how all those bands and people do it. Terror's set was crazy. We had to help Powertrip get a battery from Walmart after the show and me and Tom got Jack In The Box. Highly underrated fast food. Stayed with Powertrip again. Me and Tom got to work out before we went to bed.

7/20 - Fort Worth, TX

Another day off in FWD, hit up CiCis then sat around all day watching tv and chillin. We eventually went swimming for a while and chilled with Ron. I got in a bad mood cause sitting around in the same place without shows gets monotonous. Stayed with PT for one more night.

7/21 - Conway, AR

We were finally out of Texas and got to Conway right on time. We played with Jungle Juice again. Fun short show, kids liked us/knew the words and shit. Went to Taco Bell afterwards and had a funny experience with the dude at the counter, good dude, backed hard. Ask me for the story. Stayed with the drummer of JJ and watched the Warriors.

7/22 - Tupelo, MS

Woke up and ate spaghetti, then went to Tupelo. Researched the West Memphis Three during the car ride, that's some fucked up shit. I had never dove into it before. Tupelo show was cool. It was a last minute garage show with only us playing. A 7 minute show, amazing. The cops started driving down the street right after we played, ha suckers. Drove to Birmingham right after the show and went swimming at Chase's pool. Went back to Luke's and ate sandwiches and went to bed.

7/23 - Birmingham, AL

Woke up pretty early and went to Keytona, but we got kicked out right after we got there by some dudes. We ate at Milo's then went to some lake with Luke and Ku and some other dudes. There was a dam to jump off of and a boat to play around with. Fun day. We then got smoothies and went to the show. I got wayyyy too much smoothie, to the point that I might not ever get a lunar lemonade with raspberries again. Lame Beartrap set. I'll leave it at that. Went to Sonic, went to Abby's house and ate food and stayed too long. Slept at Luke's.

7/24 - Chattanooga, TN

Woke up late again and headed off to TN, cool basement venue in Chattanooga. There was a concrete stage and shit. The rest of the show took a while and we stayed at the venue where people stayed way too late smoking weed. I had to watch Aqua Teen for a while (worst show), watched some good South Park eps, ate pizza finally at 4 in the morning then fell asleep, lame night.

7/25 - Atlanta, GA

Spent a long time in Chattanooga watching Better Off Dead and Detroit Rock City. We finally rolled to ATL late, got to the venue we always play at and went to Taco Bell. A cop tried to stop me from getting water at Taco Bell. Show was weird, just three touring bands. Stayed with Andy last night, good dude, good house, good dog. Ate frozen CPK, drank Diet Cokes, watched 16 and Pregnant, The Wedding Singer, Richie Rich and the end of the Notebook.

Phew, I promise more updates more frequently to myself. How is the state capital of Florida in Talahassee? How were the Olympics in Atlanta??

Peace out.

7/15

7/15 - San Antonio, TX

We had to wake up early to head out across Texas to San Antonio. Pretty crappy drive, nothing to see, nothing cool. We stopped for gas and saw Decades at Sonic, so we stopped there and even the Sonic sucked. It was just a hot, boring drive. When we got to San Antonio the city looked pretty cool, but obviously we were playing in a shitty part of town. It was at some taco stand or something. Tom, Josh and I immediately walked to Whataburger. Pretty good, not as good as In-N-Out, but definitely good. We got back basically right in time for us to play, it was a fun set, we played shitty, but kids dug it and bought stuff. Decades played after us then I chilled outside, talked to Jen on the phone and walked around a little bit. After the show when the payment shit was getting sorted out, we didn't get any money, but the other touring band, Jungle Juice got 55 and two locals got 25 each. Jungle Juice gave us and Decades 25, then one of the locals gave us 25, but the other local was refusing to pay us theirs. Total bullshit. We finally got 10 bucks out of them, then blocked their cars in to load and kept making 15 dollar jokes. Afflicted Nature was their name? Fuck them. Went back to this dude Josh's house, showered and watched Bruno then fell asleep. I was real bummed on the night when we got to the venue, but it turned out alright. Decades dropped off the last two days of tour and went home. Bummer.

Peatz

7/14

7/10 - Phoenix, AZ

We spent our first night at Manny's and woke up, went to Sonic and Carl's Jr. then watched Road Trip. We played with some black metal bands and the show was kinda whack. It was still a show though, so oh well. Pretty sure we just went straight back to Manny's house and slept. Manny said a bunch of funny shit this whole time with him that I won't be able to remember a lot of, but some of it is on my twitter and its definitely worth checking out. Manny rules.

7/11 - Tuscon, AZ

Woke up at Manny's and ate pizza. Totino's pizza is the best kind of frozen pizza there is. This is not something worth arguing about because its true. Its usually less than 2 dollars and is better tasting than even most non frozen pizzas. I could live off the stuff. I'm pretty sure we watched Meet The Fockers on this afternoon and when Mike shut it off cause we had to go to the show Manny called him a fuckin pussy. Manny's great. Except that he's a cheap poor asshole that won't pay for gas. Tuscon show was weird, we played with a band called Demise of Hollywood, who had a lesbian singer, a dude who looked 40 playing drums and three guitarists, all of whom looked like they were playing brand new equipment. They also labeled themselves "pop-mosh." Oof. After the show, me and Tom just wanted to go back to Manny's, but I think Josh wanted to hang with some girls and Mike wanted free fries so we basically talked shit to the girls until they didn't want to hang out with us anyway. It worked so we went back to Manny's and I got two tacos from Jack In The Box, great value.

7/12 - Tempe, AZ

I think everyone just woke up really late, we ate more pizzas, we went on the computer for a long time, then we hit up the show in Tempe that was at a practice space time thing with a huge drum riser. The show was put on by "Spyderdog," his license plate said SPDRDOG. After the show everyone got horny and we had to go to In-N-Out, then swimming with two girls. I was very apathetic about doing anything, so I went, but wasn't that happy about it. Got food, swam, hot tubbed until it got too hot. That that cool and way too far away. Got back to Manny's and slept.

7/13 - Off Day in Maricopa, AZ

A day to chill cause our Albequerque show got cancelled. Hit up Taco Bell to try the new bacon potato cheesy burrito, pretty good. Went back to Manny's and found movies. We watched The Breakup. Not good, pretty awkward. We then hit up the mall, which was mallish, failed at sneaking into Bruno, went back to Manny's and watched Mean Girls and She's The Man. Slept.

7/14 - Las Cruces, NM

After a sad goodbye to Manny and his mom, we went off to New Mexico after way too many days in the sweltering Arizona heat. Got to NM, hit up Carl's Jr. again. The show was with Offsides and No Harm Done, some bands BearTrap played with a lot last summer, so it was cool seeing those dudes/girl again. Fun show, kids knew BearTrap. After the show we went to a dude's house to sleep in El Paso, after a dog shitting all over the floor and a dude on a couch watching Cheech & Chong, we fell asleep.

Word.

7/8

Its been a while so I probably won't remember everything and these will probably be pretty brief.

7/4 - Olivehurst, CA

I haven't been a huge 4th of July guy since I was like, 8 and Edmonds banned fireworks, so I wasn't expecting much and I didn't get much out of the 4th. Coolest part of the day was stopping at the Redding In-N-Out, my first time, while it was 101. Good burgers and fries there. Worth the hype. Got my burger animal style. After driving thirty minutes south for no reason (Cameron). The show was alright, it was in a garage or something and it was just us and Decades. That night we drove to San Fran to stay with Josh's friend and I played with their dog Gunner.

7/5 - Concord, CA

While Mike and Josh rode their bikes around SF, me and Tom got to walk around, get pizza and hang. SF is cool, but I probably wouldn't want to live their. Not sure if I'm enough of an OG freak. The Concord show was with Power, Ill Intent, Decades and some locals. It was at some weird house in Concord. The search for a convenience store was long at this show, but it was found. Our set was cool, I broke my low e string 3 songs in but didn't bother to stop playing through the set. We couldn't find a place to stay on the way to Fresno, so we wound up just staying in SF again.

7/6 - Fresno, CA

After an aborted jeans sniping mission, we left for Fresno, which was just as shitty as my Mom told me it would be. The show was at a youth center in a really shitty part of town run by Hardcore kids, which was actually pretty ill. Another show with the band from WA and Decades. Fun set, fun show. Kinda cool cause every kid that was there was inside for every band. The wall had to be torn down after the show, so BearTrap and a few other people tore down the majority of the wall and got an ill group pic afterwards. I found us a place to stay and us and Decades ate lots of food, watched the Empire Strikes Back then fell asleep to Return of the Jedi. Good night, lots of nerdy jokes.

7/7 - Pomona, CA

After Decades got into a huge fight we left for SoCal. Not too bad of a drive and a pretty cool show in Pomona. Kids seemed to dig us, Power and Ill Intent playede this show too, and Rotting Out from California, ill band. It was tough finding a place to stay, but we wound up staying with Juan Gutierrez in Whittier. Ill spot. We watched Step Brothers and chilled til late. Decades was stuck in HB at a lame house.

7/8 - Las Vegas, NV

We made the decision to risk the drive to Las Vegas not knowing whether we'd get paid or not while Decades decided to risk the show in Murrieta still happening and staying in SoCal. The Vegas show wasn't that cool and neither was Vegas, but I still think we made the right decision. It was fucking 90 degrees at like midnight in Vegas. I got to talk to Jen on the phone at length finally where we talked about our future vacation to California. It was awesome talking to her (gay). I can best describe it as a really fake glittery looking city that sucks unless you're gambling. We stayed at a crusty's really nice apartment, that apparently James Dean used to live at or near or something before it became a slum. Dude was cool, but there was a huge fucking roach in his bathroom that freaked us the fuck out. That was the only prehistoric bug we saw there, but I wanted to leave early this morning to avoid any other encounters.

7/9 - Tempe, AZ

Today started our 4 day stay in Arizona, fuuuuuuck. The Hoover Dam was boring, the drive was long and hot. We decided to play with Vice Squad and Lower Class Brats today rather than the Ill Intent show. We got to play to like ten people earlier than we were even supposed to play, and then like, 200 people filtered in. Oh well. Vice Squad is so old. Only og member is the female singer, band formed in 1978 in England. Shiiiiit. Oh well, we sold shit and got paid. And I got to watch Vice Squad, I missed LCB, which is unfortunate. I had to eat Jack In The Box. I don't even really like english punk, but this is pretty entertaining. We're going to Manny's house tonight. Then tomorrow in Phoenix, Saturday in Tuscon and Sunday in Tempe again. Oh its also still 110 degrees outside and its almost midnight. I don't understand how people live here.

Fuck.

7/3

7/3 - Portland, OR

What a fucking shiiiiiitty show tonight. We woke up at that girl's house and watched Animal House and ate food then headed to the mall and Barnes & Noble for fucking houuuuuurrrrrrrrrsssssssss. It was never that bad and it was nice to be in AC, but it was also the mall. I didn't get anything. We then went to Little Caesars and then the show, which was 21+ at a shitty bar not even really in the city. We were contemplating just leaving if we weren't gonna get paid, but once we found out we were, we stayed. Decades played, then we played horribly and my guitar kept feeding back for whatever stupid fucking reason. After we played we mostly just stayed outside the rest of the night. I lifted Cameron up by his nuts and put him on Decades trailer and kissed him, we all made jokes, I bench pressed Cameron, I inspired a new Decades shirt. By the end of the night we were all pretty much ready to go somewhere cooler though. We came back to the girl's house where we are now. I'm about to go to sleep and I put on 30 Deents of Neent.

Goodnight world, Cali tomorrow.

7/2

7/2 - Bremerton, WA

If there's one thing I know about Bremerton, its that it makes me thirsty. Today might have been my thirstiest day of tour so far. Today was totally awesome though. I woke up at 1030 and showered so Trevor and I could get a head start on our trip up to Edmonds. When we got into town, we headed to his house first to do laundry, then drove down by old house and parked up the street. We then walked down by my house and my street then up around the neighborhood. I haven't been back in Edmonds for maybe 6 or 7 years so it was definitely awesome to be back and see the old neighborhood. I got to see Trevor's family, who growing up were basically a second family to me anyway since I was over there so often, and we walked around the center of Edmonds to see some old sights. After that we drove down by an old convenience store that was a staple of my childhood and the mall, which basically looks entirely different at this point. There's always a fear that you may not get along with someone that you don't stay in contact with as much anymore, but that usually never seems to be a problem with me and Trevor, it basically felt like it always used to growing up together, except a little older now. I kinda wish I would have had a few more days or hours in Edmonds to really get nostalgic about all the time I spent there, but maybe its good that I didn't get too into it. Between living there til I was 11 and the visits I used to make in the summer, seriously some of the defining moments of my life happened in Edmonds and so many of them were spent with Trevor, whether it was crushing on the same girls at a young age or getting in trouble breaking windows or doing a shitty paper route together, its almost kinda cool I can remember it so vividly still. The show in Bremerton was kinda weak, but we played really well for at least the first half of the set I can't really complain. Hopefully the rest of the west coast treats us a little better than Washington did. After Decades played I chilled outside with those dudes for most of the rest of the time. Austin D, Ross and I just told a shitload of stories about our days in the dorms in college, good times, good stories. We're driving to some girl's house in Portland, she's currently in the back area of the van with Josh. This show in Portland is gonna be kinda gay, its 21+, which is very not punk rock. Oh well.

That's it for now.

7/1

7/1 - Lakewood, WA

Got in late last night and pretty much passed out immediately. Woke up real late this morning then headed to an organic co-op type place where I got a sandwich and macaroni salad. Then we drove to Lake Washington to chill with Jeff and go swimming. We had to dead to the show pretty early because the traffic was supposed to be pretty rough. The show was cool enough, it was at a military owned coffee shop that seemed to also be anti-war? Pretty cool place. I talked to the dude from Poverty Bay Saints/Champion about Beartrap, which I feel like I was accidently rude about, and then the Mariners, which I don't think I was. Chilled with Decades a lot and was disappointed to find out the ONE DOLLAR chinese food place was closed by the time we got there. Fuuuuuuuck that. For a change every band that played was pretty good and pretty tight. Came back to Trevor's, watched the Energy interview on hardtimes and now we're watching Gangs of New York. How was Cameron Diaz only hot in the Mask? She's straight up gross in this movie and every movie since the Mask.

To be continued... tomorrow.

6/30

6/30 - Spokane, WA

Lonnnng fucking drive today. We got right around 4 hours of sleep, woke up at 8 and were on the road around 830 mountain time and didn't get to Spokane until 630 pacific time. We only managed to really stop twice and once in Spokane, but it was still a long, expensive trip. After listening to the Simmons-Klosterman podcasts and the fantasy focus podcast and finishing Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs in less than half the time of the trip I didn't have much else to do. Books I've read now on this trip: The Outsiders, Welcome To Camp Nightmare, Fantasyland, The Notebook and Sex Drugs and Cocoa Puffs. Loved reireading The Outsiders, loved Fantasyland (fantasy baseball related), liked The Notebook, but the movie's better, the ending to Welcome To Camp Nightmare is so fucking bad, mixed feelings on the Kloserman book. I get his edge, but I think he's too cynical for me and the things he does like seem to be in that "I only liked their first 7"" kind of mentality. Glad I didn't pay money for that one. I think re-reading On The Road (Mike, Josh and Cameron all brought it, cliche) or Slaughterhouse Five for the first time are in order next. Then hopefully we'll find a used book store or hit up Barnes & Noble or something. Reading gets me through all these fucking drives. If there's anyway I can educate myself on this tour it would be awesome.

Tonight's show was kinda weird, we played at a place called the Cretin Hop in Spokane. Through 11 years of living in Seattle I had never been to Spokane. Pretty forgettable city, but it felt nice being back in the Pacific Northwest. We played with Mark Unseen's new band Ashers tonight, and there were hardly any people here. Four kids came from Moses Lake to see us and Decades though, which is pretty cool. Its nice that we've never been to the west coast, our label is based out of Florida and kids out here still know who we are. We're staying in my best friend growing up's apartment in Seattle and possibly for the next three night unless we decide to stay with his family. I really wanna make it to Edmonds at some point over the next few days just to get some nostalgia. Its a Gaslight kinda night.

Peatz

6/29

6/28 - Grand Junction, CO

The drive from Denver to Grand Junction was fucking awesome. It started warm in Denver, then when we got to the Rockies it actually go pretty cold as we were passing the mountains with snow on them, then got hot as hell again as we got into the desert. I haven't seen huge mountains in so long that it was actually just pretty awesome to stare at those, let alone the crazy rapid rivers going through them and all the desert shit. The whole thing reminded me of a Disneyland ride. Once we got to Grand Junction, per uge it was skatepark and food time, then we rolled to the venue. Not many kids at all and not much to say in general about the show. We slept at the promoter's apartment where we all ate pizza and made bad jokes like uge.

6/29 - Clearfield, UT

Left pretty early for Utah, which definitely worked out in our favor. More mountains and deserts and right after we passed a gas station Mike told me we were at an eighth of a tank with 40 miles until the next gas station, so we obviously chose not to turn around and try to make it to that. We made it 40 miles, but the gas station no longer existed aaaaand we didn't make it the next mile to the gas station. A dude and his wife stopped and brought Mike to get a gallon of gas, which didn't start the van. We had to call AAA, then finally Decades came by and started keeping us company. The van got towed to a mechanic, where it was eventually decided that we needed to fix our fuel pump. Decades, Josh, Tom and I rolled to Ogden while Mike waited at the mechanic for the van to get fixed. Almost the entire drive was spent talking about the Beach Boys and me displaying my nerdiness on the topic. The show in Ogden was a last minute thing at a park in a gazebo type thing. Mike wouldn't answer our texts in the van to surprise us by getting to the show right after us, something I predicted happening. Pretty decent turnout for a last minute show. As for nerd shit, it was the first show I've played using two cabs and it sounded good, especially for an outdoor show. Some dudes drove from Salt Lake to see BearTrap, which is always kind of a cool thing to see. After the show we went to Chili's to have a feast, and now we're back at some dude Kyle's house, where we have to wake up at like, 8 to get to Spokane. There's like, a party or some shit going on, making it almost impossible to sleep and some gangbanger dude threatened Ross for parking Decades' van in front of his apartment. After possibly the best place to stay (last night) this might be the worst place. At least its not fucking dirty here. There's two scene idiots here who keep dropping the fact that they go on tour all the time, when in all reality, they've probably gone on like, two weekends to Denver or some bullshit. While Tom was eating leftover Chili's, idiot scene dude #1 said, "you guys eat Chili's on tour??????" And Tom explained that we kind of splurged for whatever reason tonight. Scene retard asked how long we'd been out, "two weeks," said Tom, then idiot scene dumbass said, "oh, wait like one more day then you'll be eating ramen everyday." Really retard? What do you know about eating once a day and stealing most of your food? Maybe I'll try to sleep now and hope one of those scene idiots doesn't try to slip into my sleeping bag (which I did tonight with Ron).

Peatz.

6/27

6/25 - Lincoln, NE

My birthday! Woke up in Fargo and had to leave for a long drive to Lincoln. Found out that MJ and Farrah Fawcett died on the way, though the internet was broken so it was hard to get details. I also got stung by a bee for the first time in like, 20 years and didn't really know what was going on at the time. We rolled into Lincoln, got some BK, got eaten alive by bugs then played our set. After our set we played a Blink cover, then two more, then like 15 more assorted covers. It was insanely fun. We went back to this girl's house and all slept on her floor.

6/26 - Lincoln, NE (Reprise)

We had an off day, so we stayed in Lincoln for another day. Ate at CiCi's, 13 slices and 2 brownies for me, then went to Barnes & Noble and the mall. Went swimmin at some apartment complex, which was awesome, then cam back to the Ghost House to chill before going into town to hang with University of Nebraska bros. Mike jumped off some high shit, I stooped for a while, some really high kid hung out for a while then we went back to sleep again.

6/27 - Denver, CO

Tried to wake up a little early to get to Denver on time with a 7 hour drive ahead of us. The drive wasn't bad at all and we went to some crazy huge skate park with a bunch of little kids. The weather was seriously perfect in Denver and we rolled to the show. The venue was pretty awesome, record store, venue, halfpipe, etc. Some familiar faces at the show with the Effort and Outrage playing. Pretty fun set. Came back to the house we're staying at now, got mexican food, watched Haggard and now I put the Notebook on. Good times.

Peatz out

6/24

6/22 - Waterloo, IA

We left Nate's house for the final time and went off on a journey to CiCi's, which no longer existed. Asshole google maps are liars. We wound up hitting up Sonic with Decades then were on our way to Iowa. Not much different between Illinois and Iowa. The show was pretty cool, I feel like Beartrap played like shit, but it was more than likely the sound in the room and no one moving. We stayed at this dude Zack's house where it was fucking hot and humid as hell. There were water fights, airsoft gun fights, a punch in the face, none of which I took part in, but it was a pretty fun night in general. It was tough sleeping in a 100 degree room that felt there was water in the air.

6/23 - Eau Claire, WI

Woke up, ate leftover spaghetti, renamed Cameron "Ron," called him a nerd some more and pushed him around in a circle and rolled to Wisconsin. As we got to "Hotel Hell" there was a nu metal kid with a Lamb of God shirt on, pretty fair omen for the show. We hit up Sonic again to eat, I've been on the jerky, corn dog and cherry slush diet so far this tour. It does wonders, seriously. Got back to the show and hung in the van for a while longer. The great majority of the show appeared to be 15 year old assorted alternative culture kids, some coreys, some numes, some toppers who seemed to be drinking beer for the first time in their lives. The cops came twice and were actually really nice both times, probably cause Tom and I were incredibly nice to them. They went away very quickly both times. Decades set and our set were both pretty cool. I then got Ron started on some philisophical talk when he was drunk which made me, Tom and Austin Dennis laugh a lot. Beartrap then went to some cliffs at night to watch Mike and some locals jump off a cliff then went back to "Nate's Dungeon" to sleep.

6/24 - Fargo, ND

Mike woke up early to jump off some huge bridge, but Tom, Josh and I decided we wanted to sleep more. Its finally not crazily uncomfortably hot outside, especially for the van ride. Jeans and a t-shirt and its not uncomfortable with the windows closed. Fargo is actually a pretty cool city for being in the middle of nowhere, Josh, Tom and I walked through the part of the city near the venue and hit up Taco Bell for some food. I was picturing Fargo being just like all the other "cities" we've been playing in. The show was cool, not much to write about. After we played we played some awesome songs and had a dance party with Decades. Slow jams and some bangers. Good time, this spilled out into the parking lot with some grease as well. We were trying to decide if we wanted to stay at this dude's empty house or at someplace called the "Weed Barn," after hearing that we couldn't actually sleep at the Weed Barn, we chose the house, Decades still chose the Weed Barn. Ate some more food at the house and Mike found me an ice cream cake to eat at midnight for my bday. Doesn't feel like my bday obviously since I'm in the middle of the midwest. Lincoln, NE house show tomorrow for my 23rd. Illlll. Nobody likes you when you're 23.

Peatz out.

6/21

Champaigne, Il

I can't remember the last time I wasn't uncomfortably hot and sweaty, its just constant at this point. I really wasn't expecting the midwest to be this humid, even though my mom warned me it would be. I figured we'd miss it by being here so early. The bugs are annoying too. Other than heat and bugs today was pretty fun. We woke up and watched Pulp Fiction, then rolled to Taco Bell and I ate way more than I should have, but I had to down two grande softs. The show was another basement, we're basically doing the Intensity in Ten Cities basement tour, but prolonging it for 2 months. I've enjoyed my time in Illinois, but I'm a little excited to go to Iowa tomorrow and see some new sights. Waterloo, here we come! We just went back to Nate's apartment, watched King of the Hill, ate vegan chilli and I finished a Goosebumps book, HORRRRRIBLE ending. I'll try to highlight as many days as I can remember with anything interesting that happened on them, but first and foremost you have to know that Decades rules as a band and as dudes. Every single one of them.

6/15 - Rochester, NY

We rolled into Rochester late after the Wappingers show and slept at this dude Chris's house, who fed us with bagels, cinnamon rolls and an assortment of juices in the morning after we woke up. When we were done eating Mike and Josh wanted to go ride bikes with the dude setting up the show, Dave I think? Me and Tom chilled at the dude's house and mostly played MK vs DC on ps3. Good game, but it gets boring. I finally ate garbage plates and got sick, so that was cool. The show was cool, nice little venue, first show with Cut Short and Burdens, hung with Chelsea for a bit. After the show we had heard about these underground abandoned subway tunnels, so we went down there with this dude Jessy, CS and Burdens to explore. We heard there might be homeless people down there so we all brought some sort of weapon down there just incase. Cool shit down there, obvious signs of the homeless, though we didn't spot any. Ate pizza at Chris's then stayed there again.

6/16 - Buffalo, NY

We got to Buffalo pretty early and went to the dude who booked the show's house, Will. I hung out with him and his Dad and talked about sports while Mike listened to Joy Division. His fat ass bulldog Czar also beat me at basketball. The show was cool, basement in Buffalo, didn't get to explore the city much, but we did go swimming/hot tubbing with Decades after the show. Mike and Josh did so naked. Slept at some dude's house that I forgot his name, but he liked the Misfits and AFI a lot.

6/17 - Cleveland, OH

We stopped at a skate park before the show in Cleveland where Tom and I went into the Family Dollar and Saves A Lot then watched a storm pass by from the van. I also read a lot. On the way to "The Tower" we stopped at White Castle, my first WC experience ever. I give it a meh+. The venue was actually the chinese restaurant that they filmed the end of A Christmas Story in. Pretty awesome. The show was crazy and our last with Cut Short and Burdens. The Beartrap set was crazy, just people throwing chairs, bikes and hockey sticks at Mike and the band. So ill. That night we stayed at Peanut's house and watched Hot Rod twice. Mike was pissed cause he hates Samberg.

6/18 - Ann Arbor, MI

Woke up in Kent, OH and got some free Chipotle, always good. We got to Ann Arbor and were trying to figure out which house was "The Metal Frat," we assumed it was the shitty looking one, but it was actually the huge mansion esque building across from the shitty one. Its an actual frat with alternative culture kids living in it. So fucking cool. There were a lot of kids there and Decades set was really awesome. After the show it was basically a big party outside. Josh got naked, Decades drank a lot and it was fun. After the party died down we went into town to get food where Tom, Josh, Cameron, Austin Guitar and some Ann Arbor kids yelled at anyone that we saw and met two black dudes that proceeded to follow our ignorance. It was a fun night. We all slept in the metal frat that night.

6/19 - Indianapolis, IN

We left Michigan kinda late and rolled into some skate park outside Indianapolis in the sweltering, humid, 90 degree weather. Got to the 1511 for two cool sets from Dickhead and Baresnatch and then hanging outside in a thunder storm with Decades and Brandon Evans. After the show we went to Broadripple and got some bagels. Fun hangin with Brandon. Traveled late to Peoria, Il to stay with Nate from Black Teeth.

6/20 - Galesburg, Il

Woke up unbelievably late, especially with the time change and went to a skate park. Me and Tom walked to Taco Bell while Mike and Josh biked then rolled to the show. The pool party was less than extraordinary but the show was fun enough. Now we're back chilling at Nate's with Decades, watched Vacation and now Tommy Boy, I might read Goosebumps.

Peace out.

6/14

First day of tour, not very good show in wappingers falls, ny. The beginning of tour is never bad, hopefully everyone stays in high spirits/getting along well. It might get rough on the west coast/south when it gets REALLY hot. Im excited to see friends in Rochester, I havent been there in a few years and had a good time the last time I was there. Kyle and Chelsea are gonna hang out. I didnt spend any money today, definitely a good start there. Just ate food that I brought in the van with me. Not much of note for the first day of tour. I guess the dude we're staying with is feeding us, which is always good, though I'm gonna be paranoid and girly about eating so close to going to sleep. Oh well. I cant believe i forgot to add videos to my ipod. I went to all the trouble of converting them to mp4 or whatever and then forgot them. I am retarded. Dude we're staying with has a pitbull, hopefully he doesnt bite my dick off.

Peace out.

what i did tonight

http://tinyurl.com/qxzz3v

that.

YO, I'm finishing this shit.

2. Chili's
Location (to Doug): Pretty close. But as far as generic chains go, not close enough. There are like, 5 Fridays and 6 Applebees closer than the nearest Chili's, but Chili's is 20x better, so fuck it. Right?

Menu diversity of items I enjoy: Everything. It's all good. The chicken is good, the ribs are good, the burgers are good, the appetizers are good. Everything. I'm a Chili's fan. There are plenty of things I haven't tried, but I'm sure those are good too.

Price: A sliiiiight drawback and it's only because I don't make enough money for a normal person to survive. Entrees are around 10 bucks, but that's why this type of place is a once every other week type of place for me.

Best perk?: Spicy food is awesome. Duhhhhh.

Any complaints?: Chips and salsa should be free. Not three bucks. Cmon Chili's, you're better than that.

Last words?: I had never actually had Chili's until like, 9 months ago. But their commercials dragged me in because everything they mentioned sounded so good to me. Their standard (non southern style or something?) chicken crispers are literally the perfect chicken finger.

1. Taco Bell
Location (to Doug): There are two within four miles of me. The Walpole one is obviously better (and closer), but still, you can't argue with two. I wish there was one in my backyard.

Menu diversity of items I enjoy: I like a lot of things there, but generally don't roll with the meat, though recently I've changed my stance on that. Still, it's a pretty solid menu and the specialty items are usually the best, though I'm not sure about those whack salads.

Price: I'm pretty sure it's the cheapest way to get a delicious meal. Anything that's better is more expensive and anything that's cheaper tastes way worse. Taco Bell is perfect.

Best perk?: Price, location, the nacho cheese. That's pretty much it. Replacing potatoes for anything is amazing.

Any complaints?: It's not in my backyard. A bunch of idiots work there. The meat is supposedly grade F, whatever that means.

Last words?: I can't stress how much I like the nacho cheese at Taco Bell and nacho cheese in general. I'm almost convinced that I actually like the nacho cheese, not Taco Bell.

So that's it. You know where you'll find me when I'm hungry and feeling generic!

Tried the Pepsi Throwback cause Frank told me to. EH. Eh+? I dunno man. Not great, it seemed to get better as it went along to be fair.

maybe manana.

Numero Three

3. CiCi's Pizza
Location (to Doug): I believe Maryland is the closest one. I'm not lying when I say the Northeast has the crappiest chain restaurants. What am I supposed to be excited about, Applebees and McDonalds??? PLZ!

Menu diversity of items I enjoy: Well, I like pizza, and I like CiCi's Pizza, so the menu diversity is just fine for me! The white sauces peatz they got is great, the mac n cheese peatz is great and they even have pasta and salad for all those pizza haters (idiots).

Price: $5ish for a pizza buffet. Better than Papa Gino's! In every way possible (papa ginos is gross, if you think differently you're an idiot and you might as well just not like pizza).

Best perk?: Oh yeah, it's a pizza buffet, you can eat ALL THE PIZZA YOU WANT. Think about that. And they're small slices, so you can eat like, 10 pieces and feel like a man.

Any complaints?: Too far away, and if you eat too much pizza you feel sick. This seems to happen at CiCi's more than anywhere else. But, if you consider the fact that CiCi's pizza buffet is half as expensive as a thick crust Town Spa peatz, and it's more than half as good, it's a pretty good deal.

Last words?: I really really really wish CiCi's would move closer to me. I need to just start opening franchises around Boston and make bundles of money.

Cruised to Natick yesterday with Jen and picked up some Einstein's Bagels. Well worth it, I'm about to enjoy a Bagel that I picked up there in a couple minutes actually. Other than that, just been enjoying some baseball.

-Tomorrow I have a very busy day, fuck that.
-A busy day for me consists of three things that last more than an hour.
-My jobs are about as easy as they could possibly or physically be and I still dread them with all my heart.
-The soda diversity around Sharon sucks, I can't even find a Coke Zero Cherry most of the time! What the hell south shore!
-My car is in the shop and hopefully it will be fixed for good tomorrow. Things that don't actually affect my car driving, but affect me getting an inspection are SOOOOO dumb.

Coming Soon:
-More complaining
-Top 2 Chain Restaurants! Holy Shit!
-What I got candy-wise for easter.
-Why the Cheesecake Factory is good, but not so good (that one's for Frank).

MANana

Hi

I haven't forgotten about you. Einstein's Bagels
Location (to Doug): I don't even know what town this place is in, but it's off Rt. 9 and Rt. 27 and it's near Natick. It's also in pretty much every other state ever in abundance. I think i like to torture myself when it comes to the restaurants that I enjoy.

Menu diversity of items I enjoy: Quite a lot. Most importantly the pumpkin bagels and pumpkin cream cheese, only offered in the fall. But I also quite enjoy their cheese bagels and jalapeno cream cheese. Annnnnnd I enjoy whatever honeynut cream cheese they have and would probably enjoy any bagel they have to offer. I don't like normal cream cheese, but I do like Einstein's schmear!

Price: It's bagels! It's cheap. Cmon.

Best perk?: The best and only cream cheese I enjoy. That's pretty much all you need to know. It's the best, and it's cheap and it makes me feel like a Sharonite. There are so many chains that I'd like to open in or around Sharon. I think this place would go perfectly in the old Sharon Mart.

Any complaints?: Like usual, too far away. I can only enjoy it when I'm in or around Natick, which is not often.

Last words?: One time in Orlando, we passed an Einstein's and had the idea to dumpster it to get free bagels and such. Mike and Dan ran out of the van, then I did, then they yelled RACOON RACOON! And we all jumped back into the van. The singer of Glue described it as looking like a Scooby Doo episode.

-Wrestlemania 25 is pretty cool.
-I'll give the entire series of Undeclared a solid B-, the character development was less than I would have liked, some of the characters were straight up annoying, I couldn't expect the show to last more than 17 episodes. BUUUUUT, Jason Segal's character was an A+ and had me lolling pretty much anytime he or his voice was on the screen. Seth Rogen was great in it and you could tell he'd be a big deal. Jay Buruchel's character was passable as a main character. Once again, Jason Segal in it was really worth the 8.5 hours of watching in the course of two days.
-Rewatched Children of Men, still kinda meh about it, probably another B-.
-Started Rollerball, solid A+ right there
-Tom Waits is the greatest person ever

Coming Soon:
-Top 5 Tom Waits albums
-Top 5 Beach Boys albums
-Top 5 Wrestlemanias
-Top 5 Wrestlers of all time
-Why Smokey Bones kinda sucks
-Diet Dr. Pepper, why it's great

MANAna

Adventureland

This post is about Adventureland, and that's it cause I'm tired.

I give it a B/B-. I probably would have enjoyed it more if Jesse Eisenberg wasn't doing a Michael Cera impression and if Kristen Stewart wasn't being a mopey bitch. Other than that I enjoyed it. Bill Hader and Martin Starr was awesome, Kristen Wiig was pretty subtle, which I liked and Ryan Reynolds was blissfully mediocre. Nice plot, not completely sure why they had "James" be a virgin, but it didn't make too much of a difference.

Had UBURGER today. Possibly my favorite cheaper place to eat in Boston. So much better than Spikes it's not really a competition.

That's it.

MANANA

Only one for today, maybe a few more tomorrow. I'm tired and need to go to bed.

5. Azteca
Location (to Doug): Washington, Oregon, Florida. That's it folks. This place needs to move closer, and chain Mexican needs to expand to Mass in general. Acapulco's is good, but I need variety in my life damnit! This is a throwback to my days in Seattle.

Menu diversity of items I enjoy: I used to enjoy the burritos, the cheese enchiladas, the tacos, the beans, the rice. Great place. I remember enjoying the fountain Coca-Cola, obviously resplace by Diet-Coke now. TEAM DIET, FUCK ZERO.

Price: Decently priced for a Mexican joint. Burritos are about 10 bucks, so are combo platters. You get what you pay for folks, this isn't an everyday kinda place, ya heard?

Best perk?: They obviously play that ill Mexican music while you're eating. Free chips and salsa, perhaps the best perk of all Mexican restaurants, as Mexican restaurant salsa is always the best salsa you've ever had. And who doesn't love bottomless chips. I'm getting hungry folks.

Any complaints?: The fact that it's 1000 miles away from me. That's pretty much it.

Last words?: My family and my best friend in Washington's family used to eat here every Sunday night (Cause the little amigo menu was 99 cents). Great tradition. Also, check out that logo. Maybe I'll get that tattooed on my face.

-There is nothing more aggravating than being stuck behind a slow driver. This happened to me twice today. The times when you're thinking, how can you possibly WANT to go 25 miles per hour in a 40!!!!!
-There is no better feeling than finally seeing that that slow driver is turning when you are not. Then you go extra fast just to remember what it feels like to drive like someone under the age of 65 again.
-Ben Affleck, that's all I really have to say.
-The Real Adventure

Coming Soon:
-Top 5 Ben Movies
-Top 5 Macaulay movies
-My thoughts on Seth Rogen, the entity
-A review of Adventureland, once I see it!
-How to go to bed before 5 am. I'm making my list of my favorite chain places to eat. Feel free to argue, but just know that you're wrong. I definitely didn't forget any either, so don't worry about that. Maybe I'll start with the ones that didn't quite make the list and a reason why:
Papa Johns (too expensive)
Sticky Fingers (too far away)
Outback (too unhealthy)
Fridays (too generic)
Subway (they stopped cutting the tops off the bread and started cutting the bread normal on the side, fuck them)
Thai Accent (not enough locations, only two??? come on!)
Anna's (no queso sauce)

Now, onto the best, I'll split it into two parts

10. Burger King
Location (to Doug): Not nearly close enough, one on Route 1 in Westwood or some bullshit, one in Brockton, one in Easton. None within 10 minutes.

Menu diversity of items I enjoy: Pretty good for a fast food joint, I like the chicken nugs, that chocolate pie thing, that steakhouse burger, the veggie burger, the whopper. That's pretty good and off the top of my head.

Price: It's fast food, can't beat it.

Best perk?: Well, I know Zac Wolf loves it, so that's good. I think my favorite items are probably that chocolate sundae pie and the steakhouse burger. When I lived in Seattle, it was probably my most visited restaurant, it always had great toys, there was a 99 cent whopper at the time and those weird burger king kids with the kid in the wheelchair (right).

Any complaints?: It's fast food, it's incredibly unhealthy, poor locations as far as where I live. The regular burgers have never been very good, oh and Zac Wolf loves it.

Last words?: It's actually pretty cool that they have a veggie burger.

9. Baskin Robbins
Location (to Doug): once again, not very close, it was much better when they were attached to most Dunkin Donuts locations, but alas, the closest is either in Foxboro or Avon. Better than BK I guess.

Menu diversity of items I enjoy: Most of the specialty flavors or seasonal flavors are amazing, too bad those fuckers are seasonal. Also, the CLOWNS (right), so ill.

Price: great price for ice cream, it's how it made the list. Tuesday dollar cones or whatever? Hell yeah.

Best perk?: The clowns, that truffle ice cream they had last year, the triple chocolate oreo ice cream they had. Holy shit. Those were ill.

Any complaints?: The best flavors are seasonal and they don't last long enough. Fuck that.

Last words?: I always forget there's a BR in Foxboro. I should hit that up the next time I don't have a million things to do. And they have the clown cones in Foxboro, HUUUUUGE perk.

8. Little Caesars
Location (to Doug): Horrible. There's one in Haverhill and one in Attleboro. BUT, Little Caesars is best when enjoyed on tour and Little Caesars appear to be all over the country, so that's pretty nice.

Menu diversity of items I enjoy: It's pizza, I like it all. Even the cheese is great. Plus cheesy bread and crazy bread.

Price: $5/large pizza. There's no possible way you can beat that. If I were Dominos, Papa Johns, Pizza Hut or Papa Ginos I would be as mad at Little Caesars as all the other shirt sellers are at $5 shirt guy. Undercutting prices isn't cool, for anyone but the customers.

Best perk?: $5 pizza, duh. And crazy bread. And the jalapeno cheesy bread that me and Chris had once.

Any complaints?: Not really. The pizza could be better, but for $5, you're not allowed to complain.

Last words?: PIZZA PIZZA!

7. Moe's
Location (to Doug): Very far, and very shitty. Worcester? Plymouth? Seriously? Move to me damnit.

Menu diversity of items I enjoy: Burritos, chips, queso, hell yeah. Enough for me.

Price: Ehhhhh, average for a burrito place.

Best perk?: I really really really really enjoy that you can put olives on your burrito. Really really really. Also, the queso, soooooooooo ill.

Any complaints?: It's far away, kinda dumb names for their burritos, the salsa at the salsa bar isn't very good.

Last words?: Best chain burrito. No doubt in my mind. Qdoba has better queso, Anna's has refried beans, but Moe's is better than either of those places.

6. Sonic
Location (to Doug): New Jersey, fuuuuuuuuck that. Move up north assholes.

Menu diversity of items I enjoy: Haven't tried everything cause I'm usually not eating meat when I got there, but, the slush is good enough to get it on this list.

Price: Half price happy hour! So ill, otherwise, not bad at all.

Best perk?: The Cherry Limeade Slush. Possibly the best tasting thing on the planet. Good god.

Any complaints?: A decent amount of the food has tended to make me sick. But, not the slush and that's all we're really talking about here.

Last words?: I've finished two XL Cherry Limeade slushes, plus a small or medium or something one in one sitting. For some reason they tend to give you the worst brain freeze you could possibly imagine, but it's worth it.

Alright, part two tomorrow. I know you can't wait to find out who makes the top 5.

-The thought of doing non-sports, real journalism makes my head hurt, it makes me angry and it makes me very very anxious. God, I'd probably rather do retail.
-Holiday candy tastes way better than normal candy. There's no doubt in my mind about this. Especially easter candy. Take advantage of this folks.
-I have no idea if it's illegal to text while driving, is it? Do I need to hide my phone when I drive?
-I think that rabbits are adrenaline junkies like the dude from Crank. I think they wait for me to start driving near them then those fuckers dart into the street as fast as they can and try to just miss my tires. That's the only explainable reason why they do it. I'm gonna attach a net to the front of my car and start catching those assholes.

Coming Soon:
-The search for foreign diet sodas continues, will I ever find them?
-Doug Kyed and Mike Ford sports blog
-More quick movie reviews
-Part 2 of best restaurant chains
-Why facebook sucks.

MANANA

April Fools Sucks

Hey everyone, get ready for a bunch of really dumb prank stories that you're completely ready for! I hope someone's death gets faked in a really untasteful way this year. Perhaps by falling while skiing?

Watched Lost In America today for the first time. I'm not sure what I was waiting for my whole life, but I'd give it a solid B. I have a hard time relating to a lot of films made before I was born. I'm sure I would have liked it a lot more if I were watching it at the time, but I've certainly noticed a cutoff in movies that I can really like and movies I can only kind of get and that cutoff appears to be 1986. That being said, I enjoyed Albert Brooks, I enjoyed wikipediaing him and finding out he's Funkhouser's brother, I enjoyed the mom from Freddy Got Fingered being perhaps the most despicable, slightly enjoyable character in a movie ever, and I really enjoyed the end. Perfect ending, made me laugh and feel kind of good.

-I love the fact that two of my favorite restaurants are called the "Good Food Store" and the "Good Taste Eatery," and that one is a sandwich shop and one is a chinese restaurant. I might never get over how awesome that is.
-I'd really like to find a pair of those zebra pajama pants looking things to start wearing to the gym with brightly colored tanktops tucked in. I think it would only help me get stronger.
-My good friend Matt Azersky moved back up north to Massachusetts from Florida. This is good for everyone, you'll all see.
-I have too much to do tomorrow to still be posting.

Coming Soon:
-More movie reviews.
-Top 10 restaurant chains (this includes fast food and pizza places).
-Thoughts on Jason Sudeikas as an SNL cast member.
-Why the Beach Boys will forever be the greatest band on the planet.
-Songs I would cover.

Oh, and I didn't try any new sodas today. Stuck with Diet Coke and Coke Zero Cherry.

manana.

cause what else do i have to do?

Because I really don't have much else to do, I guess I'll possibly start updating this more often. I'm currently catching up on SNL's that I missed while I was on tour. It's kind of a daunting task, and I'm only really doing it for my new found high appreciation for Bill Hader, who along with Paul Rudd, is definitely in my top 3 actors currently. I can't wait for Adventureland, and after seeing Rogen on Letterman tonight, I guess I can't wait for that mall cop movie that he's in too.

Kristen Wiig is annoying on SNL. Even her celebrity impersonations remind me of her Target lady character.

After trying three different kinds of easter jelly beans, I think I've decided a clear winner. The brands were Jolly Rancher, Starburst and Life Saver.

The Jolly Rancher jelly beans had the least amount of sugar in them, which you can tell as soon as you taste them. They're not marketed as a low sugar option or anything, and when you're dealing with 3 or 4 grams of sugar in CANDY, it certainly hurts more than helps. The Blue Raspberry flavor stood out the most as the clear favorite in this brand. I tend to judge based off of the Grape flavor in most candies, as it's my favorite, and this grape was pretty good. A few more complaints with the JR, too many flavors, too tough to differenciate when looking at them, some of the flavors were straight up gross. Not good.

Starburst are the best, which is weird, cause I'm not THAT into Starbursts in general. But, the cherry, lemon, strawberry and orange just taste exactly like those Starburst flavors, the grape is amazing and makes me wish there was a grape Starburst, and the green apple is even good. My only complaint is that the pink and orange colors are sometimes hard to differenciate, and when I try to grab all the like flavors at the same time, it makes this tough to do.

Life Saver JBs were about the same as the JRs. Pineapple was a huge disappointment, while peach and grape were the best. Have fun trying to figure out which is a peach and which is an orange though. More sugar than SBs and JRs too.

Fuck jelly belly, get that shit out of my face.

I feel like a sell out, but I'm getting pretty deep into my re-love for soda again too. Diet this time around. I think my favorite so far are Diet Coke and Coke Zero Cherry. I'm excited to try Coke Zero Vanilla, and some of the Diet Dr. Pepper products.

-Taylor Swift rules, but what the hell was up with that SNL performance that happened two months ago?
-things that don't affect your daily driving experience but still cost you money to fix suck
-Will Forte is pretty cool too, and Fred Armisen
-Good Taste Eatery in Canton, MA, looking forward to ordering items off the $2 menu, like General Gau's, Fried Rice and Chicken Fingers.

Coming soon:
-Top 5 places to get food in or around Sharon
-My favorite things to do in the gym
-What sucks about Zac Wolf
-Things I'm gonna do to Zac when I live with him in September
-Why Diet Pepsi products suck
-My ranking of current SNL castmates (from Hader to Wilson!)
-Top Ten current Actors? He starts off the night with his family. He orders, then excuses himself to the bathroom. There, he changes into John Travolta and meets his boss. This continues, then he gets slightly too intoxicated and eventually meets his boss as Nicholas Cage while speaking in a British Accent. He then meets back with his family has to give Pierce Brosnan the heimlich maneuver and in doing so his face falls off revealing himself to be John Travolta, the children's father and Sally Field's ex-husband, and scarring the kids for life.

Scene: Room with many bunks in the Army. Michael Cera has a fight with his troop and Sergeant the night before and has to sleep in the basement by himself. He wakes up the next morning and finds the room empty, "Mom? Dad? Buzz? Uncle Frank? Is this a joke? Is this a joke? I made my platoon disappear!"

Scene: In a big treehouse/clubhouse Sean Connery, Diane Keaton, Skeet Ulrich, Matt Le Blanc, the chimp from Ed, Matthew Lillard, Harrison Ford, David Arquette, Johnny Depp and Doug E. Doug are sitting around a table with empty bowls and plates in front of them. The scene is in Sean Connery's perspective and the rest of the characters start digging into the bowls. He still sees nothing. Eventually he starts seeing very bright colored goop in the bowls and digs in himself and a giant food fight begins. Matthew Lillard says, "He really is Peter Pan!" Diane Keaton hands her sword to Connery and says, "Pan the Man," and crows. They all crow.

Scene: Rosanne and Topher Grace get stuck in a bathroom together during a huge end of the year party. They relive many moments of their history together including Topher saying, "Remember when I used to sleep over at your son's house and you'd come downstairs at 2 in the morning and tell us to go to sleep? That used to make me so hrony! Eventually they have sex.

Imagine the movie Superbad with Skeet Ulrich as Evan, Matthew Lillard as Seth, Liev Schreiber as McLovin and Hugh Grant and Jude Law as the cops, but as English Bobbies. type='text'>"world's largest chair"

last night we went to gardner to visit the self proclaimed "world's largest chair," which is definitely not true, but it was a big chair. if i had to proclaim it something, it would be "world's biggest chair that is nearly impossible to get onto and get off of without killing yourself."
<img style="cursor: pointer; picture of the chair. as you might be able to see, on the front and back of the chair there is one support beam, and on the sides there are two. it is very hard to get from the bottom support beam to the top on the sides without using the front or back support beams to get up onto, and the legs of the chair are so wide, it is hard to grip them while getting from one beam to the other. not to mention it was snowy, and the metal beams and legs were very icy.

so alex got on the chair:

and jumped off into a bush that is very conveniently placed next to the chair and is really the only good way to get off the chair.

then we both got on the chair:

then alex jumped off again:

then i was a huge pussy and was afraid to jump into the bush, and a cop had just drove by so i needed to jump off really bad, but me and heights don't do well together, and it was surprising enough that i risked my neck to get onto the damn thing. so finally i jumped off into the bush too:

which needless to say i'm very proud of myself for doing. i ripped my jeans, which i'm pissed about, but i will get new ones today.

oh and i shaved my head.
tspa again

i can't believe i haven't posted in so long. oh well. been practicing with that nice radiation sickness a lot lately. so nice. got that shitty shit cleared up, got my guitar fixed, bought a 4x12 cab, etc. etc. the band that exenergy wrote all the shit for, beartrap, is playing in amherst this weekend, if you live near there, you should be there. i'm playing guitar. mercy house. we're playing before the mongoloids.

today we hit up town spa after practice with frank, and energy minus tank. was a good time. me and exenergy got in a food fight that got out of hand. he got wet and i got peatzy. i can still smell the peatz that's on my face.

there's really nothing to say here. having a three day school week is amazing. i'm having a party at my apartment on saturday that will be cool, but only if people come, so you should.

been working out everyday/as much as possible. feels good. running two miles a day plus some lifting. i immediatley eat it all back, but, oh well. better than not working out and still eating like garbage.

watch out for radiation sickness.
watch out for beartrap.
watch out for you won't.

touring this spring/summer, will be nice.
goin to town spa, mlk day

like always, i will not pretend to know what i did for the last 12 days. it involved lots of fun, lots of hanging with mike, caitlin and my parents. the patriots ruled two more times. i got my nose fixed. made chinese burritos. that's pretty much it though. i came back to boston last night after the pats won, drove to the line in my new jeep, then drove over to boston to see "There Will Be Blood" at the new lows common theater. might be my favorite movie that came out in that nice 07. actually, that's a lie, Superbad was clearly the best movie of 07. but this movie ruled. it was very nice seenting mike, frank, zac, sam and scott again. we went to sunset and had fun.

tonight was one of those very nice nights that happen once in a while. today started by buying a parking spot (ill) then going to yaki house with xindy, frank, sam, scott and zac. was nice, then went to harvard square. poked around a little, then met up with exenergy and caitlin. such nice peeps. i was pumped that exenergy came all the way from stoughton and it's obv always nice to see that caitlin. went to baskin robbins and got that nice free ice, truffle ice cream, holy shit. honestly, best ice ever. at newb com before br, mike bought an rc rat. it was awesome. best toy ever. we went back to emerson after br where we got the rat put together and hung around for a while. the plan all day was to go to regine after emerson, but then since i have a car, we decided to go to town spa instead. so nice. mike was our chauffeur today, but he didn't have a hat. after picking up my car, we went to the hometown of kevin klausman's mother and got that tspa peatz. bummed that dan couldn't have met up with us, but was still ill. then cause it was mlk day we went to kfc and got cakes for 2 dollars. mlcake day is so nice.

the drive back was insanely awesome and ignorant. we listened to every nice band from 2001 and 2 and played let it ride 9 times in a row. it's still stuck in my head. i wish i could live in a big house in the middle of boston and not pay rent and the people who would live there would be xindy, exenergy, frank, zac, caitlin, sam, scott, dan, lenny, chris, brandon, ford, alex, gil and whoever else anyone else wanted to live there. it would be a mansion and the shower wouldn't be stubborn and stupid.

lots of you won't talk today. will be the best band massachusetts has seent since 2 feet tall.

god i love my friends. it's impossible to think that anyone could a. have more fun than us, and b. not want to be around us at all times.

bye!

frank made me mad today when he was a bitch and took shotty in my jeep. i was stubborn and won. i am made of stubborn danish, lithuanian, swedish and english bone(r)s.
it's been awhile

ok, so it's been forever since i updated this damn thing. 08 has been crazy so far!! you all know about what happened friday the 4th in nh so i don't need to have some permanent documented proof to show to the entire world, but it sucked and was funny, cost me a lot of money and yeah, that's pretty much it. if you haven't heard about it yet, ask me, i'll tell you all about it. the rest of friday was fun, hung out with the energy dudes and watched some dvd on the gloucester scene that actions in objects is featured in, lol.

the trip to philly was awesome, went to mikeexenergy, caitlin and gmoore, none of the rides were too bad, ride to new york was filled with b9 posting and gay dance songs, ride to nj was very short, i don't really remember the ride to philly, but i know it was only about an hour. ride home i slept almost the whole time due to a pounding head ache and my nose killing me because, as most of you know... i broke it during have heart. if you want to watch what happened, youtube allows you to see!! http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZRcx6tstEL8 2:47 mark, you see a kid leg drop me. i want to kill whatever idiot do that awful stage dive, which was less a stage dive and more of a hulk hogan leg drop onto the bag of my head forcing my nose to smash against a p.a. monitor. fuckin a. so i'm going to some nose doctor on friday to get it fixed i guess. cool. the rest of the trip was awesome hanging with mikeexenergy, caitlin, mikexindy, brandon, chris, adria, kipp, frank, the canadians, manny, frankie, sean, etc. etc.

new york we met up with the indians and frank, got peatz, then walked around to a bunch of different places to eat. while peeps were meeting with jen and eating veg food me, frank, chris, kipp and adria went to every porn store we could find and looked at dildos and other assorted funny things. we also went to a pretty cool record store.

in nj we got to sean's around 930 i think, then watched some video games for a while, then went to some girl's house around 11 i think. i was really tired and kind of sat looking at my shoes for a long time. then got kind of social near the end. the new jersey kids were referring to jersey and "the z" and were listening to e town concrete, fury of five, shattered realm, lifetime and saves the day. kids love their jersey shit. we went back to sean's, slept, then woke up at 1ish to go to philly. at some point in the morning mike said, "i don't know if you guys have noticed, but on the wall picture of new york, one of the buildings is blinking." i then said, "i don't know if you guys have noticed, but on the wall picture of new york, two of the buildings aren't there anymore."

we got to philly and ate very nice real or fake philly cheesesteaks depending on who was consuming them. we parked near the venue, hit up wawa then went to meet up with the indians and frank. we walked across a lot of the city, which i just google mapped and it was a 2 mile walk and met up with all the indians. we then immediately walked back the two miles to the venue. we got into the show, got our 7"s, bought merch and watched let down. me and mike then quickly brought our shit to the car, then watched cis. then it was time to go to wawa during damnation a.d. while outside some hilarious shit ensued with manny mares phone conversations with zac wolf and mike ford and talking to canadians. manny asked me what the second biggest country in the world was and mike answered texas before i could. i broke my nose during have heart, which was fun regardless. hope con and paint it black were awesome.

we had a sad goodbye to our indy friends, then headed home. i slept almost the whole way because of my condition, but caitlin's car broke down at exit 6, two away from my house. bummer. we dangerously drove the car to my house, then i had to take everyone back to their respective homes. got back at 830 in the morning and slept til 5. did nothing all night.

yesterday i went to the doctor which was a pointless venture. they just led to me another doctor which i'm going to on friday. i went to lenny's to check out his new car that he bought that was pretty ridiculous, then went to dan's to pay energy back. joe was there, we talked for awhile about the philly trip. a little later me and mikeexenergy went to somerville to drop off caitlin's car cause it had gotten fixed. she made us some nice veggie chicken parm and we watched superbad then chilled for a while. got home late and went to bed.

today i woke up late, chilled around the house then hung out with my dog. i took him to tedeschi's to get some air for my tires, then to the post office to mail my rent check, then to town spa to pick up that very very very nice peatz. once the peatz was consumed i went to ikea to hang out with caitlin and pick out some furniture for her apartment. after that we headed to dunkin donuts which also had subway and baskin robbins. THEY HAD THE CLOWN CONES AT BASKIN ROBBINS HOLY SHIT!!!!! they also had this ridiculous chocolate truffle fudge ice cream. i couldn't decide what i wanted so i got the clone cone and a scoop of the truffle ice cream. was so nice. also got that nice milky way hot chocolate. too much chocolate. i felt full for a very long time. i've done nothing since then. currently, i'm not sure why, but i'm getting this weird sensation in my head/fingers that i got when i had a really really bad temperature and was hearing voices. it's not a feeling i could ever explain and the whole time it's happening i feel like i can't wrap my head around what it reminds me of or where i've felt it before. it's only minorly happening right now, it's not as bad as it's been before and i don't really mind it, it's just really weird. it's an almost numb feelings and i feel it mostly in my hands. like a really heavy feeling.

friday might suck. to fix my nose they have to either do surgery or rebreak it. apparently they're putting me under for it which i really don't like. fuck that. it didn't hurt that bad the first time i broke, i can take it again. the shitty part is that i'm going to with honor on friday night and i would really like to partake in some very nice stage dives and head walks to with honor and crime in stereo. still will. saturday is the seahawks and pats playoff games so that will be nice as well. suday is with honor, bane, outbreak in haverhill, will be sweet.

i'll finish this entry off with my ten favorite albums of 2007:

1. trash talk - walking disease - heard it first when alex played it for me over the summer and thought it was awesome but forgot to download it. later mike and frank were obsessed with it and played it nonstop. so good. best record of 07.
2. crime in stereo - ...is dead - much different then i expected as a follow up to troubled stateside, but unbelievable. i remember being so blown away by it when mike played it for me.
3. blacklisted - peace on earth war on stage - this band keeps getting better. i can't wait for their full length.
4. energy - punch the clock - definitely my most listened to record of 07, and i only have it as low as four because their newer songs have blown this material out of the water. i saw this band an unbelievable amount of times in 07. i can't wait for the full length, which will hopefully be my favorite record of 08.
5. vandelay - memories - R.I.P. i listened to this e.p. a bunch in vansas. great work dudes.
6. ceremony - scared people - much different, still awesome.
7. the ergs - upstairs/downstairs - the good songs on this record are UNREAL.
8. chuck ragan - feast or famine - favorite folky thing released this year. very nice. will seent soon.
9. lifetime - lifetime - it grew on me. i always liked it, but couldn't really really get into it til recently. overall, very impressive reunion album.
10. the carrier - one year later - this could climb over the next year, haven't had a ton of time to listen to it, but it definitely rules.

honorable mentions to:

bitter end - climate of fear
explosions in the sky - all of a sudden i miss everything
let down - sacrifice me
the mongoloids - time trials
radiohead - in rainbows
ryan adams - follow the lights e.p.
said radio - tidal waves and teeth
saves the day - under the boards
shipwreck - abyss
wolf whistle - demo a.d. 07

albums that had i listened to more might be on either of these lists, but for some reason, i didn't. this list will be long and they're either on here cause the the first time i listened to it it didn't grab me, i forgot about it or i haven't had enough time to listen to it:

bright eyes - cassadaga
capital - homefront
chris brown - exclusive
for science - tomorrow's just another day
government warning - arrested
jimmy eat world - chase this light
minus the bear - planet of ice
the new amsterdams - at the foot of my rival
owen- split with the city on film
paramore - riot!
pulling teeth - martyr immortal
rocky votolato - the bragg & cuss
ryan adams - easy tiger
say anything - in the defense of the genre
smoke or fire - this sinking ship
ted leo and the pharmacists - living with the living
the unlovables - heartsickle
wilco - sky blue sky

there we go. if there's another record that i desperately need to check out that came out last year, lemme know.

records i already know will be on next year's list because i've already heard them:

polar bear club - sometimes things just disappear
paint it black - new lexicon
trash talk - plagues

records i already know will be on next year's list just because:

new energy
new blacklisted
paul sucks

another year. thank god 2007 is over.

saturday: went to look at cars with my dad, looks like i'm buying a jeep cherokee on thursday, rules. i then watched the pats saturday night, stressful fucking game.

sunday: went to the mall and bought vans for 13 dollars. then went to polar bear club with mike assatly and roe. jen went for some reason and i vowed to never leave my house again due to the awkwardness. i tried to ignore her existence while my friends laughed at me, but it didn't really work. she came up to me drunk during peenter beenter cleent and i had to push her away from me. i also hung out with caitlin and we discussed our trip we will be taking to philly on the 6th. on the way there we listened to anything good with honor ever released which got me pumped for the reunion weekend.

mike told me during the show that for christmas his dad gave him 50 bucks and called him gay. he also said during his joint graduation party from high school, there was some bucket or something that everyone was supposed to put memories about the graduators in and mike's dad wrote, "you are the biggest, gayest son i've ever had."

today: did some shit with my dad which included setting up some dvd recorder jawn and going to taco bell. then i ate dinner with my parents, then watched an episode of curb with them, then went off to brookline with lenny to hang out at josh pick's apartment.

i hadn't seen a bunch of the people there for an extended period of time, so that was nice, and mike ford showed up, which was also nice to spend new years with someone i hang out with a regular basis. everyone there was on that ecstasy, which was hilarious. there were three ugly slutty girls there and the ugliest of them kept touching me as she walked by me and kept talking to me. i did my uge awkward rudeness to try to get it to stop. lenny and josh smoked a lot of weed, some girl and dude had sex in terrence's bed then we had to kick a bunch of people out of josh's house.

some kid who i have forgotten the name of knows how to like, spin fire or something, so he did that and i not so secretly wanted him, terrence or someone else standing outside to catch on fire. if that had happened, 2008 would have been the best year ever. annoying shitty girl wanted to spin fire too, and i encouraged her greatly because she kept saying she was "good with fire" and "catches on to things quickly," i was unfortunately the only one that believed her and she did not get to catch herself on fire. bummer. lenny was a bitch and was discouraging her, i will never forgive him. mike ford wanted people to catch on fire too.

i argued with lenny about a lot of funny things tonight, which is my favorite thing to do with lenny. he gave me and ford shit about our expensive north face fleece/jackets, then ford confronted him about his jacket. then me and lenny argued about who got the better deal on their jackets. i clearly won with a fleece and outer shell for less money that his jacket by a company that spells "orange" wrong. i also proved that lenny is a bad friend and didn't fight people with me when he should have. he apologized to me and then apologized to josh for being jewish. right before we left i called the girl who gave me her phone number on the t over thanksgiving break and left her an epically awkward voicemail message that i laughed at the end of because had i not, i would have just appeared like an asshole, not an awkward asshole.

i've got some nice things to look forward to upcoming:
-girl awkwardly calling me back
-snowboarding with lenny soon at blue hills in the middle of the day so we have the "hill" to ourselves
-going to philly to see hope con/paint it black/crime in stereo/have heart/let down
-going to have heart/dtn
-going to reign supreme/bitter end
-going to the with honor shows featuring have heart, crime in stereo, bane, outbreak, ambitions
-darkbuster/energy
-getting a vehicle
-the patriots

new years was fun. even though as usual, as soon as i got somewhere, i wanted to leave.
button down collars suck

I'm not gonna go day by day and bore you and pretend to know what I did everyday, so I'll try to just throw out the important stuff on here.

-I haven't eaten the peatz in way too long, only Mom's cookin' which is nice.
-I saw Charlie Wilson's War last night and it was good, went with the parents.
-Christmas was awesome, got a lot of nice things including a new acoustic, I can now play guitar all the time again which is sweet.
-Been watching a lot of Curb again, re-watching seasons 3, 4 and 5 since I received those for Christmas.
-Playin that Madden 07 too much.

That's pretty much it, I've been hanging with the rents, hung with Lenny a couple times, but it's kinda nice to do nothing for a long time. I'm probably gonna get a car soon, so that'll make things easier. Not having a car sucks, I haven't experienced this since I was like, 16. I feel bad about calling anyone to do shit, cause it just means they'd have to pick me up, and I usually can't borrow my sister's car til like, after 10 or 11, and then she gives me shit about borrowing it. Fuck vehicles, I really hope I get one soon. Soon enough to go to Philly, even though I will find a way there if I have to crawl and steal cars and shit.

I haven't gone to the couple of shows that would have been nice to go to since break cause I've been incredibly lazy, but I will go to philly and I will go to 2-3 of of the With Honor shows, especially since CIS is playing the CT show.

I feel like I should think this break has sucked, but it really hasn't been that bad hanging with the family, the rents and the occasional friend. I constantly ask people what they're doing and then get to lazy to hang out with them and go to bed. I'm really dissapointed with myself, I've been going to bed at like, 12 or 1 everynight this break. I'm turning into an old person.

If you're in Massachusetts and wanna drive me around places. Find me.

I need to eat more peatz.

I haven't been making people mad lately. Except Dodger, I threw a snowball at him yesterday.

Town Spa Peatz, Eat That

Looks like it's gonna be another early night tonight. I slept like shit last night and woke up early, so I'm tired as shit now. Had a fun day with my Seattle buddies. Went to that Yaki House followed by Best Buy and Newb Com. Saw Josh Pick and Terrence at the SBucks on Newbury Street. First time I'd seen them dudes for a very long time. Was nice talking to them. After that I took them down to Fenway, went to the team store, then went to the bathroom at the Cask and Flagon, which is so entirely different from the last time I went in there it's insane. Came back to Brookline, then devised the plan to get Amanda's car by taking the T to Quincy Adams, then taking a bus to the mall that she works at. Got to Quincy fine, then the bus took forever to get there. While there, I found out that Lenny was picking up Josh Pick from Quincy Adams, how weird. I asked if I could get a ride from Lenny to the mall but that dumb idiot had taken the seat out of his Jeep to go fruitboarding.

Got to the mall by bus fine, there was some nice wigger kids talking about free timbs and other ignorant shit on the bus. Then we became bros, it was nice. Got them keys from Amanda no problem, then headed home to Sharon so Trevor and Jeff could say wuddup to Donna and Lance. That was fine, though my Mom always annoy me when I'm around my friends, especially
Seattle ones. Then we got that very nice Town Spa Peatz. I got a linguica peatz, extra crispy with parmesan and peppers, with the crusts dipped in honey mustard. Was nice as fuck. After that we headed over to Lenny's house briefly where Josh Pick and Jordan were hanging out playing instruments. It was nice to see Josh twice in one day and Jordan seemed a little too high to talk to him for a lengthy time, but I will certainly ask him about his London semester at a later date.

We headed out of Lenny's and had to get back to South Shore Plaza by 11:15 to get the car back to my sister and so she could drive us to the T. We got there early and posted up at a bench nice and fresh. She got out late and was on her way to driving us to the Red Line and mentioned how we might miss the T, so she decided to drive us to Riverside. Then on the way to Riverside she decided to drive me to my apartment, it was nice as fuck. It was very nice because we discussed such a very nice option while posting up on that bench. So now I'm back at the apartment, watched Sportscenter for a minute, but now I think I'm going to bed. The 90's station on XM Radio made out trip very enjoyable hearing such acts as the Cranberries, Gin Blossoms, Paula Cole, Spice Girls, Hanson, etc.

Big news on the school front also. I asked two professors if I could receive incompletes in their classes cause I missed a lot of work. So one responded that I could do that and make up my work once the new semester came around. The other one responded with "i don't know," nothing else in the email. So I didn't know what to expect. I got to check my grades today and got the I in the expected one and a B- in the "i don't know." SO FUCKING NICE. In that class there were four assignments and three group presentations. I did the presentations but only did two assignments. Now, on these assignments, I was supposed to take them to the writing center to get the A's that I received on them or else they would be F's. I didn't do this. So technically I didn't do any assignments. B-, my school rules more than yours does.

I made no one mad today, expect maybe Lenny cause I kept calling him an idiot. Which he is.

Peenter Beent Cleent

So I woke up at about 4 PM today, watched the last episode of season five of Curb Your Enthusiasm, so nice. I didn't do too much today, just woke up, shoveled my driveway, hung out with the family and ate some nice dinner. I'm in Brookline now, my friends Trevor and Jeff are visiting me. They're my old friends from Seattle and they're dropping by after Jeff visited Trevor at Bard in New York. They were tired from their travels and wanted to get to bed early, so I might try to do the same so I'm not sleeping forever tomorrow. I'm currently watching "Black Christmas." I'm fully expecting this movie to be awful, but I want to watch as many Christmas movies as possible this December.

I don't think I successfully made Frank mad today, unless he didn't let me know about it. So, I might have to switch up this section for the next month. So...

Things that Dodger got mad at me about today:

-While shoveling snow, I threw snow at Dodger, which made him bark at me then hide in the garage for a while. Then, after convincing him and prodding him out of the garage by telling him I would not throw snow at him again, as he was sitting on a hill, I threw more snow at him, covering his tail. Dodger is so nice.

((Boring baseball shit))

I can't believe the Mariners gave Carlos Silva a 4 year, $48 million dollar contract. They have filled that team with awful 4th starters and overpriced overrated free agent hitters. Talking to Trevor and Jeff today just made me realize how bad the Mariners front office is and how frustrated their fans are. Generally fans are happy when their teams spend money on free agents, but the Mariners have fucked up with pretty much anyone they've aquired since they signed Ichiro. I'm so glad I'm a Red Sox fan. Imagine if I had to deal with Horacio Ramirez, Jarrod Washburn, Carlos Silva, Adrian Beltre, Richie Sexson, Jeff Weaver and Fat Dissapointing Felix Hernandez. Fuck that team.

((End boring baseball shit))

I'm gonna watch this shitty movie, watch an episode of Curb, then go to sleep.

New Polar Bear Club rules.

Peatz Regine is so nice

So I came home tonight to Sharon. I'm going back to Brookline tomorrow to see some friends from Seattle. Woke up late today, then met my parents for that very nice Regine. Ate 5/6 of a small peatz and a slice of large peatz. Then went back to my apartment, picked up my sister's car and drove her home. It'll be interesting to be home for a while.

So it's pretty late, not too late for me right now, it's 4:50 AM. What I've been doing:

-Watching lots and lots of Curb. I'm trying to work my way the series. I'm at the 6th episode of the 5th season. Such a good show, it seems to be getting better as the series goes along. I didn't start watching the show until Sam and Alex had me watch some eps of the 6th season. It's interesting starting a show with the 6th season, then going forward.

-Not much very interesting on the internet front, just some Myspace and Facebook.

Now, I'm still managing to make Frank mad from 245 miles away. So without further ado...

Things that Frank got mad at me about today:

-Frank didn't seem to enjoy my entry last night about how he got mad and referred to me with such terms as, "idiot" and "weak pussy." Frank was mad that I banned him from the peatz, which is still in full effect. He also seemed to be a bit perturbed by the rug burns I gave him... so homo. Case in point, Frank is still a big dumb stupid fucking idiot. I hope his house explodes and Jonah and the rest of the Mobilio family escapes safely but Frank will be too busy being a retard while he's sleeping to realize to get out of bed and save himself from the gigantic explosion that will ensue. I will then go Wantage and make peatz on the smoldering remains of Frank and his house.

Weak Pussy

Woke up very early for me today, waking up at 11 is nice once and awhile. I can't decide if I want to fall asleep now to wake up at 7 for DH breakfast or if I want to stay up with Mike and Frank to eat that breakfast, I'm leaning towards going to sleep currently. So I haven't been up to much tonight. Just took a shower after going to Allston.

Things Frank got mad at me about today:

-After he cleaned the bathroom I told him that I had to shit and take a shower and he got somewhat fake mad that he wanted to take dumps first after cleaning. He got actual mad when I told him it was going in the blog.

-What I wrote on Sara's wall.

"Mike, imagine me naked." - Zac Wolf

This unbelievable quote was during a conversation that I started with Zac with the question, "How much would you pay to see pictures of someone you know, anyone, naked. Like, how much would you pay to see some really hot girl from Emerson naked." I determined about $50-$100. It's a weird topic because it's borderline prostitution. The most key component though is that they don't know you have them. You'd be getting them from an outside source. But I'd say that's worth more than standard porn.

The conversation then swayed to how much would you need to give someone else naked pictures. They could share them with anyone else and there is no specification as to who is receiving them. It's a hard question to answer. I would need about 100 dollars I think. There's really nothing for me to hide, but I'd need enough money to go through the trouble.

Edit: Update of the century here and the first of...

Things Frank got mad at me about Pt. Deuce:

-First off, Frank and Mike are leaving today not to be seent for possibly a month. After seeing them everyday for the past almost four months, this is a tough pill to swallow... no homo. So as I'm leaving to go home, I try to say goodbye to Frank. I pull the sheet off his head and say I'm leaving and he says he doesn't fucking care. I try again and get the same answer. So I pulled the sheet off of him and threw it on the ground. He told me to pick it up and said some non-sensical shit about how I threw the blanket off of him before I was leaving, not once I had left in response to Mike saying, "Dude, he's leaving." I obviously didn't pick up his gay sheet and walked out the door after saying bye to Mike. Frank then told me that he hoped my T crashed, so I came back into the room and threw him off his lofted bed. We wrestled like faggots for a few seconds and I hit my head hard on the ground when I body slammed him or some shit at one point... pro homo. Then I left. This is after Frank didn't go to breakfast to say goodbye to Scott and after he didn't say bye to Zac, which leads me to believe that Frank has no idea how to be a good friend, especially when he's sleeping.

Frank should be suspended from the peatz for a year for this latest debacle.

Also, just going to sleep now, it's 9:48 AM. I slept for about an hour before breakfast, which was epically good. Best part of the night will probably be highlighted in Mikey's blog, but... Mike/Zac spilled hot wax on the couch in the 1410 common room. Then someone got an idea to switch it out with a common room couch. Then I got the best idea to find a room with an unlocked door and switch couches with them. At first I said it jokingly, but then quickly determined we had to do it. So we did. It was amazing and we didn't get caught, no one woke up and my heart was racing because of lifting those heavy ass couches a million times and the shear stress of the situation. SO nice.

Henry sucks

So I finally fell asleep for an hour before going to the Nashua show. Thank god. Did sit in a van for an hour outside of Emerson after that being miserable.

So it's not that late, but I'm exhausted so I think I'm gonna go to sleep soon, once my peatz is digested.

I haven't done much, but what I have been up to:

-Got in trouble with ECPD for literally no reason. I'm sure you can read more about it in Mikey's blog.

-Ate the peatz.

-Checked b9 and shit a lot. Nothing exciting.

Now, the most important part of the blog...

Things Frank got mad at me about today:

-When I finally fell asleep, I slept in Frank's bed and he came in and started yelling and said something stupid. I did nothing though and stayed asleep in his bed.

-Later on I asked him if Sara (his...something) went to the all night breakfast thing and he got really mad or something, it was hilarious.

Alright, murt try to sleep.

Bucky Lasek

My sleep schedule is really no longer a schedule so much. I'm not even really sure what that means, but let me explain. I was up til 11 in the morning last night and woke up to a call from the Pita Pit saying they were at my apartment cause I ordered Pita Pit for this morning before I went to sleep cause I needed someone to call me to wake me up for the Patriots game and I needed food. So that was at 1, got a good two hours of sleep maybe. Then I watched the Pats play like shit but win again. Then I went back to sleep until 10ish, another 6 hours of sleep. Now I'm stuck in limbo right now cause it's 4 and I'm not tired and I need to wake up for class which is at 12. I feel like most human beings wouldn't be stuck in this situation... I should have just kept sleeping and woke up at like 5 in the morning, that would have been awesome. So I just explained why I'm up late, but I guess I'll tell you what I've been doing:

-Watched a bunch more episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Best show, though, it can get a little repetitive when you watch it as much as I've been watching it.

-Played around on Googlemaps for long time. I found out that driving around the park across the street from my apartment is .5 miles exactly, which I don't believe. That seems impossible, but that does give me a nice point of reference for when I start running again.

I feel like I can play around on Googlemaps for way longer than most people can. Dragging that little dot around to find out different routes to places is so nice.

-Didn't do too much else on the internet. I feel like I'm running out of things to look up. Did email a professor to see if I can get an incomplete in that class.

-I just realized that I've only spoken to two people today. The Pita Pit girl for like a split second while taking my food and answering the phone and Frank when he called me about Nat Dis. That's unbelievable, I've literally only spoken about 20 words today. I don't know where my roommates have been lately.

-I took a walk around 2 or 3. I wanted to find out where Beaconsfield T station was cause I've never known how to walk there. So I listened to Christmas music on my iPod and walked in the snow. For part of the time I ran, but then it got too cold and the ground started to freeze.

I need to make this a separate paragraph cause it ruled, but on my walk I saw a tree fall on a house. It ruled and made a loud sound and I don't think there was any damage to the house. It happened when the wind got really really hard.

That might be all for my blog today, I didn't get a chance to make Frank mad cause I barely spoke to him. So...

Things I got mad at me about today:

-I broke my veg streak and ate a buffalo chicken pita. I'll take a second to explain why I haven't been eating meat lately, because usually I'd be the last person to do that. First of all, I got the chicken pita because I had to get two pitas or else they wouldn't deliver to me. So i got a veggie one with cheese, which was the first dairy I've eaten since the peatz and chicken is always good from the Pita Pit, and that was the main reason I was doing that. Meat in general from most restaurants is fucking gross. Any chicken you get from Chinese or Japanese or whatever restaurants is always way too fried and full of rubber gross chicken. Everyone knows meat from Taco Bell sucks. And meat that goes on the peatz is usually pretty unhealthy meat, like sausage or bacon or whatever. I'm trying to eat healthier, so for now, fuck most meats from restaurants, shit is gross. I have no problem eating meat that my mom cooks though.

Also, Pita Pit. I was unbelievably disappointed with my veggie pita and it's cause they fucked up. The chicken one ruled. I wanted swiss cheese, lettuce, pickles, cucumbers, olives, banana peppers, jalapenos and teriyaki sauce on my pita, they forgot two pretty important parts of said pita: the lettuce and the teriyaki sauce. I had a very very pickle filled pita, that was only good at all if I was getting cheese with each bite. So fucked up. Barely any olives too.

I first ate the Pita Pit in my first visit to Charleston, South Carolina. I was skeptical at first of said Pita Pit, but it is a very nice place and the chicken is good there, which is very important. IMAGINE A VEGGIE PITA WITH NO LETTUCE THOUGH!! What the fuck, if they had forgotten anything else, literally ANYTHING else other than those two things, it would have been fine.

Oh well. Gonna try to sleep now.

Edit: Well it's 8:45 am now and I'm still not asleep. Got that very nice DH breakfast with Mike, might try to sleep before that Natural Disasters class, we'll see though. I really wish I had just slept from 4 until morning rather than waking up at 10.

Edit 2: Now 2:18 pm, stayed up and read up on the Beach Boys on the internet for a long time, always expanding that very nice knowledge. I also changed this:
to this:

I also fucked around on myspace and made my page better. Then went to nat dis where Frank was a fuckin nerd and took 5 minutes doing something that he could have done in 15 seconds like I did. Frank got mad at me at this point and I told him it was "going in the blog." Mission accomplished. Got that DH with Zac, Frank and Alex and now I might finally sleep so I won't have to keep editing this entry rather than starting a new one tonight.

who would ever wear a cape?

First off: PUBLIC APOLOGY TO SAMMY TRIPLE B THAT I MISSED YOUR GOING AWAY LUNCH AT YAKI HOUSE, I FELL ASLEEP AN HOUR BEFORE I WAS SUPPOSED TO WAKE UP AND FRANK DIDN'T WAKE US UP AND ZAC DIDN'T CALL US AND IT'S EVERYONE'S FAULT BUT MY OWN BUT I'M STILL SORRY.

Hey there valued readers, I know it's only my second day on the job, but I really do value you. Sorry to disappoint so early, but I'm gonna try to get to bed before five tonight because I enjoy getting eight hours of sleep, and I need to be awake by 1 o clock for the Jets-Pats game, which will be won by the Patriots by about 30 points.

Now, it's 3:44, which for me is early, but for I'd say about 97% of the population is very late. What have I been doing since normal people go to bed?:

-Watched Gremlins, great flick, hadn't seen it in it's entirety since about 1993 I'd say. Gizmo is cute, Phoebe Cates is bangin', it's Christmas time, too bad the ending is sad, I'll have to download Gremlins 2 now. (Oh by the way, the entire film had subtitles of some kind at the bottom the whole time, which appears to be in Norwegian. Biggest problem with downloading movies is that you really have no idea what you're getting. I downloaded "He Got Game" a little while ago and about 10 seconds in I was wondering why Denzel Washington was speaking german. Needless to say I've still never seen that movie).

-Played NCAA Football 07, I'm obsessed, all I do is sim through seasons of a Dynasty and see if my team (currently the Temple Owls, gotta challenge yourself) will win the National Championship.

-Watched Curb Your Enthusiasm, amazing show, Larry David is hilarious, the episode I watched tonight was the one that Larry discovered he could use his mother's death as an excuse for anything. I'll be watching another one of these before I go to bed.

-Played Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 for the Playstation system. Received this game in the mail today after I bought it off ebay for 5 dollars. Is better than I even remembered and it was worth the wild goose chase it took to find it. Beat the first level, (Hangar) with the one and only Bucky Lasek, will be playing much more in the upcoming month but I need to work on my skills.

-What I did online: checked that Bengals-49ers game, myspace, facebook, checked to see what kinda weather was goin down tonight and tomorrow, looks like not much snow (2-4 in.) but some freezing rain and shit. If school could get cancelled Monday or Tuesday, shitshow 07 would go down. Also imdb'd Gremlins as I usually do during movies, then was interested about Phoebe Cates so I wikipedia'd that bitch, she stopped doing movies in 2001 to take care of her kids, I respect that. I also looked at naked pictures of her from Fast Times, Paradise and some other shit. I also looked at pictures from the show that Zac took. Good times.

Alright, now the best part of this blog, what I've received the most critical acclaim for.

Things Frank got mad at me about today:

-After I met up with Mike and Frank at Spikes to quickly grab some food to head over to the Allston Basement show (if you wanna read about it go to Mikeypedia's blog, I don't handle that shit), it took awhile to get my fries that I ordered because people suck at their jobs. So as I was leaving I said, "They had my fries just sitting back there." So Frank said, "You should have just gone back there and got them." Now, in a bit of a role reversal, I took Frank too seriously because sometimes I forget that he makes jokes even though he can't detect them so I was like, "WHY WOULD I DO THAT?!" in a very Mobez-like manner. He started role reversing even more and turned all Kyed on me and started berating me and calling me a fag. Sometime while Frank was being me, he got angry, even though I was pretty much just taking his berating and getting mad about it, and he hit my fries like he was gonna knock them out of my hands. I back hand tapped him on the face (like a very light ball tap that would still hurt, but to the face, so there was no damage done). Frank came into Store 24 with me when I bought my veatweat and was a jerk. I still to this moment don't know why Frank followed me, rather than Mike who was at DD buying some hot chocolate because then Frank went to DD and bought some stupid donut. As we were leaving I re-reversed roles so that I was Doug again and he was Frank again and I started telling him jokingly, but not so jokingly cause I was mad he touched my food why he wasted our time and had to buy a donut after going into Store 24 pointlessly. I told him we were probably gonna miss Wolf Whistle because he wasted 10 seconds of our time, and it was possible we could even miss half a Wolf Whistle song because of his lapse in judgement (this was all obviously joking, I don't mind when my friends buy donuts, but I needed something for this section so I might have egged him on, I was also still mad from the Fries incident.) So, after I went on about this for a little while, Frank exclaimed, "Don't talk to me for the rest of the night, I don't like you Doug." If he was kidding at all, which I don't think he was at the time, it was only half-kidding because Frank has every right to completely hate me for all the stupid joking I do with him. So after he said that I put it in my brain that I would not talk to him for the rest of the night because I like to make stupid points. But then I decided I would be the better man on the train and offer him Fries, which he very impolitely declined, probably because he still hated me. I texted Mike on the train (and I only feel like airing this publicly because A. it's funny B. I don't think Frank can still get mad about it and C. even if he does, I'll have something to write about tomorrow) asking "so why's frank being a gigantic wet sopping pussy bitch tonight?" Mike said he hadn't noticed that he was being one. After a quiet train ride and walk to the show, we were fine once we got into the show and Frank acted like a lunatic (in a good way) for the rest of the night, and we even talked about our funny argument on our way home from the show, giving Mike and Zac some much needed alone time.

-I think he also got aggravated when at 12:37 after he had come into the room and me and Mike would have been too late for Sam's big lunch, I asked him "WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE US UP?!" Like it was his fault when it was clearly mine.

This is a picture of Frank taken at the DD that Frank ordered a stupid donut at, but it was the second time we went when we had already made up and were ordering matching medium hot chocolates.

This is a picture of Zac Wolf and Mike Steinborn while we were waiting for our trains on opposite sides of Hynes. I was mouthing Energy lyrics to them while they were being cute. They made up a new sign for Jenkem which was nice.

This is a nice picture of Me, Frankem and Mike at the show, Zac, maybe you should make your watermark thing bigger, it only takes up 2/5 of the picture.

This is another nice pic, the emotions are Doug (I love Frank even though we bicker, I hope he likes it when I rub his nipples, also it's sexy time cause I'm making a kissy face), Frank (Oh how I love it when he rubs my nipples, it makes me touch my dick, god I'm so into public displays of affection), Mike (I wish they wouldn't do that in front of me.)

Ok.

peatz.ess. that title and perhaps titles for the future are things that I think in my head when no one's around to hear me say them out loud.

EDIT: Ok, it's 5:56 now, still not asleep, sun will be coming up soon, just spent about an hour showering and shaving... So, yeah, didn't disappoint.

EDIT 2: 8:41 now, looks like I was a little premature on the updating of the blog. Still not asleep, since the last edit I've watched a few curbs, drank protein drink cause I'm actually trying to get in shape and I set up my brita filter. These are the things you need to know. This is what keeps me up at night. This is my social experiment. Why can't I sleep? I can't wait to wake up tomorrow, watch the Pats and eat my Baneentneent that I bought at Store Two Four. Eat peatz.

Gil told me to make one so I did...

I followed the trend on livejournal about 7 years ago, and now the world is all about blogs. So, I guess I'll inform everyone why I stay up late every night. It's 9:02 AM right now, haven't slept a wink and this is because:
-I ate peatz at 1:30
-I drank an energy veatweat
-I took a shower around 5
-Since then i've been on the internet, the internet is why i stay up late most nights. Tonight I've been researching the Mitchell Report heavily and have been studying up on some of the players to see some of the trends that forced them to take the illegal substances and if it wound up helping them or not. If you want to read my thoughts on the matter, I posted on a message board about them:

((BORING SPORTS SHIT))

"i was happy to see clemens, giambi and pettitte on there, disappointed about mo vaughn until i saw it was in 2001 using hgh after he fell into the angels dugout and after he hadn't been relevant for about 3 years. no big surprises, hundley was probably the most obvious.

i've seen a lot of people saying, "i can't believe brady anderson isn't on this list... i can't believe so and so isn't on this list..." remember that this is only like, three sources so far. i'm sure they'll dive deeper into this shit and while some may question whether it's warranted or if it's worth the league's time, i'm sure as hell interested to see who was cheating and who wasn't. i was happy for now with the lack of ex-mariners and red sox and i know i'll get bummed when their trainers rat them out just like the mets dude. i hate the speculation though and i'd like to know more officially who was on and who wasn't.

also, anyone saying this shit is "hearsay" and with questions of slander and all that shit. some of the name droppers were in trouble with the law over this shit. remember that this happens all the time to actually arrest criminals while dudes are trying to lesser their sentences by ratting people out. happens with the mob, happens with drug rings. paper trails and one person's word over another goes a long way. if it's a valid way to accuse people in the united states court, i'm sure it will hold up in major league baseball.

i think what i'm most disappointed about is that people are still denying shit. why would some dude lie about david justice doing shit when he's got a million other dudes to rat out to get out of jail? why would they have f.p. santangelo buying steroids if he claimed he only did hgh? santangelo is getting a lot of praise for "coming clean" about shit, when he's still denying shit. i've also seen a lot of people saying that they bought the shit but never used it. that's likely, perfect alibi too. i feel like i have yet to see out of the mitchell report someone pulling a canseco or grimsley and just being like, "yup, i did it. it sucks, in that day and age you couldn't make it if you didn't, and i'm guilty, strip my records." obviously it's not likely that someone's going to do that, especially if they were dishonest enough to do this shit in the first place, but it would be nice.

fuck steroids, fuck hgh. boston straight edge."

((BORING SPORTS SHIT OVER))

I might try to fall asleep now, I'll be running on three hours of sleep to say goodbye to my buddy Sam at the Teriyaki House tomorrow at noon thirty, but that's a small price to pay to eat with buddy I probably won't see for a month.

Things Frank got mad at me about today:

Today wasn't too bad from what I remember, but...
-At 7:30 in the morning I said something about how Frank doesn't have Sam's phone number, and I might have wondered if it was because Sam didn't like him, to which Frank replied why I was being like that at "this time." To which I questioned at which time I don't make these quips to Frank, usually to see if he'll take what I say as a joke. I then said, "No, you're right, usually between 5:30 and 7:30 every night I don't give you shit," facetiously.
-Oh, I was also refusing to call to order the peatz because I claimed I didn't care that much about eating, which was a lie, and I wound up calling to order it anyway because I'm a nice guy. But initially, Frank was a little upset that I would make such an excuse out of laziness to not order the peatz.

I'd say Frank is tied for first with three or four or five other people on a short list of "Doug's best friends."
